By the way, if Team E and F don't already know, we swept the tournament. Total Domination, don't think any game went longer than 14 turns. Gas and Tick were totally awesome.

No need - - this member of Team E at least had a very good time in what was his (i.e., my) first tournament. Plus, Team E just closed out the competition with a rousing defeat of a team featuring the Lord of Warlight. So all was good.

If anyone wants to do a free-for-all game without about 7-8 players using the Europe map, the Middle East map, or anything but the East Asia map (since we're using it for tourneys) or the full Earth map (which doesn't interest me as much as the "regional" map), I'd be up for it. Not sure how to set up a quick game with just FBGs and avoid the inclusion of some of these other clowns on the site.

Create the game and send invites to FBGs, don't include any open seats. You can invite everyone, and as soon as you have enough players for your liking for that game, can start the game (by uninviting those who haven't responded).

LOL, I initially was planning to wait until I saw there was interest, but there were only 5 empty teams when I took a look. I figured you'd be the first to join. (in the future, join first, then post. you can always leave the tourney if you get a bad team).It looks like 2 empty teams are left, if any other's want to help shut pinkbladder's mouth.

When you say "second challenge", which one are you referring to? Crazy, or level 3? If it were Crazy there would be 4 AI teams, what you're talking about sounds like it might be level 3. If it is the Crazy challenge, there's a lot of luck involved.

There have been some strategies and tips posted and re-posted in this thread for the Insane level. Maybe someone can re-post again, but a quick search through this thread should get you something. I have not won it, but I stopped trying awhile back.

Generally you want to plug Svalsbard S first, then Anadyr N with a bigger plug next.

Yes. I am currently playing a game on the (really fun) Chicago city map against him, and am about to have a huge showdown with him to finish it. If I win I may not be able to resist saying something via chat.

Congrats on beating Crazy. As noted above, TexasFan02/Guderian and TheFutureChamps/Gaspumper have both beaten Insane, and they should be roundly commended for it, because it is unbelievably tough. I tried it three times, got my ### kicked, and honestly lost interest. The parallel earth map just doesn't draw me in.

So I have tried insane twice now, got smoked in both. Near the end of the second attempt someone attacked cuba and I said to myself "how did I get troups over in cuba"?

Thats when I realized that you start with 8 troups in cuba.
