Welcome! I think I played you yesterday...

can someone explain the ladder to me?i have to be a member first. but then then what is it?
It just matches you up in a series of 1v1 games (you can decide to play anywhere from 2 to 5 games at a time). After you play ten ladder games, you're assigned a ranking based on your performance and you can move up and down the ladder depending on how well you do.

yup. i never saw anyone go US E for the mexico defense before so that didn't even cross my mind. and i was too far away from scandinavia to stop you there. africa was my plan C, but you were there too. i was doomed

I've invited you to a tournament that has all known FBG members invited to it. Most of the "Not Replied Yet" are no longer playing, but almost everyone else, including the "accepted" and "declined" are active players.

3v3 Europe tourney, and I'm with FBG's Chadstroma and Brant. My first tourney!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Don't worry guys, I've played this map hundreds of times.

In many ways, Lutsk is the key to this map!

BTW, Humuna, if you want to start up UNC X or whatever, PM me and we can discuss the settings you want, and I'll set it up for you.
Thanks AA. Will take you up on it once I decide on a format worthy of the big "X".
Sounds good, just PM when ready.
PM sent.Thanks Dude!!!
NP! Sorry for the delay; I haven't been on FBG in about a week. Will set it up ASAP.

If anyone is interested, there's a fairly crazy East Asia tourney that was just announced with some unconventional settings. It's going to be one of those cluster-frig kind of games. It's 24 players, 3v3v3v3v3v3v3v3 (eight teams of three). I was the first join on Team "E," and before I could even post this, a non-FBG player, Ragingpikey, who's a very good player and a pretty good teammate, joined me, but there's another spot still open, or you guys can join other teams. Looks like fun.

FBG Unc X -> http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1303505  Let us know if you have trouble joining, and AA will send you an invite.

thx aa!

Under Home, click ladders, then 1v1 ladder. You should be able to leave ladder from that screen without impact on the 2v2 ladder.

I like Ragingpikey and NuckLuck - they're good players and seem to be good guys. You could do a LOT worse for a random person joining your team.I wonder if others who see us in games a lot are noticing that FBGs are reliable teammates who don't get booted or surrender randomly. It could make it harder to keep to FBG-only teams, but I suppose the people who would notice and join up are the people who play like FBGs anyway.

For Unc X, if Polish Hammer, Ryco, wdh, and MoDogg - - as well as anyone else I left out - - want to play, PM me your e-mail addys. For some goofy reason I don't have you on my invite lists. Thanks.

Yeah, Raging is a good guy, and I was actually pleased to see someone of his caliber join up. The third spot in my group was filled by Ottarinn, who is also a good player and a solid teammate as far as attitude and communication.

I think you're right about the FBG reputation. I think other players realize that we're reasonable people who talk in chat and don't act like clowns.

randall, that goes for you too. Just PM me your e-mail addresses, guys, and I will invite you and you can look over the settings and decide if you want to play. It's Eastern Asia, random teams of three, all cards in use, fun settings as far as start spots and number of armies. Well designed by UH. We have 11 but would like 15.

Sorry; no need to PM me. I forgot or was too dumb to realize in the first instance that all I needed to do was to go grab your IDs from the "tourney" Dragons set up for that exact reason. Done and invites issued. Join up already.

Hm, this thread didn't show up in my "my content" search for some reason. Weird.

Oh, turns out it's some problem that a lot of people have had, according to the pinned "problems thread." Moving on . . . .

Tip from Ragingpikey that I didn't know:

hey guys, for this map its helpful to use the search engine. Go to setttings and click on bonuses and territories, you will then be able to type the name of the city into the engine and it will find it for you!

... and SteelerBill :-)
Not sure what this means (I'm SteelerBill over there)???
Sorry, missed this. Text stinks for misunderstandings...I think it was you who booted a bunch of guys in a 2 day boot game on the huge USA map, possibly after having a few drinks? It was funny to me since I had no sympathy for the guys who weren't moving, but the other teams were pissed.I have no problems at all with you and have been your teammate a bunch of times with no complaints at all - in a conversation I swear that comment would have been funny.

Cool, thanks. Yea, I'm funny as hell when I'm hammered/annoyed/awake.later.

In the 8v8 Asia tournament that's filling up, a bunch of randoms joined team X... jump over to Z if you'd like to.

If anyone's in the mood for a multi-day (but not too long - - boot is 25h I believe) game on the Eastern Asia map, join me on Team E. The guys that started this one are probably known to a lot of you. Talented, somewhat obnoxious players who like to start these games on E. Asia or Big New York and then clown some n00bs. So an FBG team would be fun. Here's the link:

I was going to post in there saying I don't like playing with non-members, but it sounds like Q is gone.
