I can commish but other than setting it up, there really wont be any responsibilities. The site will handle all transaction and everybody will be resposible for your lineups. No vetoing trades or any other decisions will be ruled on.The draft may need some intervention if we dont use a site with a timer but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

I hope so. Liver goes well with some fava beans and a nice chianti. :) Actually, Mo and I were already on a team I labeled as a FBG team in chat and some other dude joined us. AA tried to start another FBG team but again, 2 leeches hopped on. Just trying to pool us together. If you want to steal one of their spots, that's between you and them. :)

i think so too. I get an itchy trigger finger sometimes and jsut start joining anything i can see

Didn't happen, not enough participants. Maybe next year.
 
Anyone interested in teaming up in this 4x4 Asia tourney? The settings are "non-standard", especially the bonus values (all have been lowered), so check them out first. I'd rather coordinate teams here than try to convince some random player to switch teams.

I probably shouldn't be adding more games to what I currently have, but new settings/twists are generally interesting to try out, and FBGs usually rock the Asia map. :thumbup:

 
For anyone new to this thread, the player Petersrule over there is a total ##### to team with and will intentionally sabotage his own team. Be advised you'd be better off not playing with him.

And please don't invite him to FBG games or tournaments. He is not an FBG, or even a RL friend of an FBG, he's just a tag-along that took the FBG prefix and joined our groups in tournaments. And now, he has started a major pissing match with Guderian. For entertainment value, I'm all for that, but instead of a nice comical bostonfred/guderian pissing match like we had in the past, this guy is tanking tournament games where he shares a team with Guderian.Blacklist him, remove him from your invite lists, do whatever, but please don't invite him.

I play under Bostonfred.

Also, Rumour (and Whaler) are RL friends of mine (also in a couple fantasy football leagues with them), so they aren't members here. I'd personally like to keep it that way. ;)

 
We have a 4v4 tourney that is supposed to be clan against clan, yet we have a FBG v FBG first round matchup.

anyone know how I get the specific URL to a game?

Having defended Central America against South America a lot of times, I really believe SA has a big advantage, since the two territories you build up on touch. You can move all your forces to one spot in a turn, which really puts pressure on the other guy. You could just move back the next turn and be right back where you were, sometimes goading him into attacking the spot you left. Or, you could just overwhelm him on the one side and let him into SA while you get access to Florida (if you stack the Cuba side).
