It's not him, it's two guys making really long youtube videos about Warlight. They're essentially unwatchable, they talk about their move for about 20 minutes and then analyze the results for another ten. So every video is 30 minutes long and encompasses one turn.

In other news, Fizzer just invited me to a tournament. Which is nice of him, since he almost banned me a couple of months ago. I invited some of you, but I don't have all of you on my invite list for some reason. Like Dragons, which is weird. It's a 1v1 with some really good people already signed up, it would be great if a FBG won it. Tournament

 
Honestly I like Warlight the same way I used to like Age of Empires and other such games, 3 v 3 min. I think these games are meant to be social and are best enjoyed that way. If I really wanted to wrap my brain around a game I'd play chess.

I loved Rise of Rome. Still play it from time to time.

Hm. Lacking any knowledge of what any of you guys do, I have to admit that you, Dragons, Guderian and Gaspumper were my top four guesses as to who would have the programming savvy to pull this off as soon as I saw Fizzie's announcement. Well, that's two down. I can code in PHP as a hobby but I don't think I'm up to this sort of challenge, even having emerged from my recent Holiday Bootfest 2012, for which, incidentally, I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize. (In two words: we moved.)

Just keep trying, you'll get it. You have to know how the AI thinks. Never attack first if you can help it, he'll attack you. AI will also spend lots of troops on neutral spaces, you can use that to your advantage.

Just tried it again. 1st try they got me, 2nd I beat them in 28 turns. Best time ever was 17 turns.
 
Hey, someone create a FBG game using the map The Land of Kalador. Looks pretty awesome.

Maybe 24 players with random teams of 4 or 6? And for God's sake, no full distribution. Just a standard game with regular fog, etc.

Definitely need gift cards, I think.

My saved templates keep kicking back errors and I'm getting a "We want to show you an ad but you have popups disabled" message every few turns.

I haven't tried using a saved template since the change over, yet.

I get the popups message as well, but I haven't turned off my Adblock for Warlight pages yet. So far I've just assumed that the warning message can't be that much more annoying than the ads.

 
OK - I went to the hip for the $15 to open up Clan FBG. I invited everyone with a FBG prefix and a few select others I know of. If you want in, let me know.

I think he's burned out on Warlight. I got him to catch up on some games a month back, but I guess he's gone missing again? I'm not in any current games with him, so I can't tell. I sent him a message, hopefully he'll check in.

 
He said he's pretty much done with warlight. Is there any significant games or tournaments he's a team mate on? Or are you looking to boot as an opponent?

I could probably get his login, but it would be a bit of a pain to check games on two accounts.

 
I'd be willing to make his moves until his games are all finished. He's in a tournament with me right now.

 
Ref - Add FleXUS to the FBG Clan please. Played some games with him as has Milk Man and he is a god guy newer to the game (level 37 though) and wanted some teammates.

 
Sorry, guys - I misjudged the internet availability on a vacation. I'm back in town, but won't be back on Warlight until tomorrow night - I have some FF stuff and work emails to go through tonight.
