New Titans Coach (1 Viewer)

Ever see the movie Dodge Ball. In practice the coach throws wrenchs at the players. *If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball."

Fred Graves is throwing BRICKS at the receivers to build their concentration. Missing a ball doesn't hurt. Missing a brick.....

Catching Bricks

Not sure it will help them catch balls but it would be fun to watch practice.

Well that's how Jerry Rice, the greatest WR of all time, learned how to catch.
I don't think that any of these WRs are Jerry Rice.
Nuts to that. If all those receivers are catching bricks, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that VY will throw for about 8400 yards and 87 touchdowns.
I agree that this can only help VY. Kobe Bryant became famous for throwing up a tonne of bricks against the Jazz almost 10 years ago. That turned out okay for him and the Lakers.

Rice's dad was a bricklayer and Jerry would be on the scaffolding with him as somebody threw the bricks up to him if I remember right

didn't help mike williams and charlie rogers
The fact that a former Detroit WR coach is now the Titans' WR coach is kind of ominous as well.
Roy Williams and Mike Furrey down?____________Graves commenting on the Rookies after their first minicamp:
Tennessee receivers coach Fred Graves on the adjustments his new receivers have to make in the Titans' system:Paul Williams"He's not used to running certain routes. We've got a different level of routes. They basically have five or six or eight routes (at Fresno State). We've got like 30, so he's got to learn that."Joel Filani"At Texas Tech, there are certain routes that are spot routes. They run to a spot, the quarterback throws it. They're a four-wide offense. Now he's got to learn to run the technical part of the routes, how to finish routes."Chris Davis"Some of the stuff we're running now, he's already run it. So it's really familiar to it. It's just terminology at this point. The only reason I am saying that is because he's run that type of route in that type of system."
HE also said Davis is the most ready and is being groomed for the slot. If your league scores KR/PR along with PPR, I think Davis is a nice find in the later rounds of dynasty drafts.
