My thoughts as well, by the end of the season I was much more interested in the FBI story line than the President but all-in-all was good with it. Yea they pushed an agenda but frankly, it's a show about Washington which, if nothing else, is all about pushing agendas. I enjoyed the show, but the FBI aspect with Maggie Q became a little exaggerated and felt very 24-esque with getting from place to place in an unrealistic amount of time. She has taken some serious beatings over the season to still be able to walk and smile. Still a decent show. One of the few network shows I actually pay attention to.3C's said:

It's horrid.
I just started this recently on Netflix. Despite the typical network TV type of acting and some cheesiness, I found the first half of season 1 to at least be somewhat entertaining. But I recently hit a string of episodes that was just too much and I think I'm done. Maybe I'll give it another shot and try to finish season 1, but my guess is it will be too hard to make it through some of these episodes.
I only got through a few episodes of season 1 and I’m glad you confirmed that it is not worth the time to finish.
