‎***WARNING***

The national weather service has issued a falling bird warning for Chicago next Sunday starting at 12:00 noon and continuing until the end of the fourth quarter. Falling Seahawks could be heavy at times especially around the Soldier Field area. Heavy accumulation is likely!

:lmao:

Bleh. The two worst teams in the playoffs. We'll see which sub-par team comes out on top. Hawks have nothin' to lose. Should be interesting.

Um.. no. The Jets are still in the playoffs. The bears are better than the Jets, unless head to head doesn't count anymore.

I would agree with PDX that this is a matchup of the two worst teams. Gut feeling without any statistical analysis to back it up, but I believe the defense and running game of the Jets to overcome the superior QB play from the Bears. Though it pains me to say that, as I'm a huge Sanchez hater (another topic of discussion). Of all the teams remaining in the playoffs, the Seahawks were fortunate in their matchup. They should still lose, but they should have lost last week. However, they outplayed their opponent and it's still very possible it happens this week as well. The playoffs are the epitome of '1 week at a time'. You never know what will happen. 1 play can end your season.

no one talked about realigning the playoff seeds when the Bears made it. the Seahawks will have to win the Superbowl to finish with a winning record.

Um.....actually......

isn't Seattle 8-9?

So, if they beat Chicago, 9-9?

if they win the NFC championship, 10-9?

and then lose the Super Bowl, 10-10?

Am I missing something here?

So.....they would have to win the Super Bowl to have a winning record.......

Interesting that you choose to cite head to head matchups
Tongue in cheek. Seahawks beat the Bears who beat the Jets who beat the Patriots ergo Seahawks > Patriots, right? Just sayin'.. I mean, the Browns also beat the Saints.. and the Patriots..I tend to look at the last 6 weeks of the season leading into the playoffs to determine the "best" teams. Anything before that is pretty much irrelevant.

Brilliant math skills you have
 As pointed out by Barry Foster...he's correct. If they lose the SB, they'd be 10-10...that's not a winning record. HTH.
