Made my wife a fizzy chocolate amaretto martini an hour ago and she's now napping.

Heading out with my brother to see Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. They are doing 10 songs from 1976 and then a full set of their stuff. Should go until about 1:30 AM. 

Tequila and beer will be copiously consumed.

You would ask that...white wine, minced bacon, spinach, garlic and parmesan. My first attempt, delicious but next time I won't add as much stuff. Nothing can compare to the first time I had them in New Orleans though I don't remember how they were prepared.

There's a science to the alcohol/weed combo. Just the right amount of each complements the other and prevents overindulgence of either one.

Nursing a cold. Had to stay in tonight and just watch football. I come down with a solid cold on Dec 30th just about every year. 

Cold cuts, sourdough pretzels, Pretentious Craft Beers, Blow, Juices and a variety of liquors I rarely touch but like to have out in decanters to look like I have a little class. 

Herby sure looks like he has put on a couple pounds or getting older.

I don't want to make anyone jealous, but if last night was any indicator of my night, I will be wiping a 195 lb 80 year olds ### and changing their sheets at least six times tonight, and trying to keep their heart rate down while keeping their blood pressure up. Then throw in a resuscitation on a meth user whose blood sugar has gone up to 900, and is in heart failure, if I'm lucky.

Oh, and maybe a honey crisp apple and a mandarin orange, at some point.

Around '02 I think we went to the Omni all-inclusive in Cancun, not impressive. This time we are at the Barcelo way south of the tourist zone and the trip is geared around snorkeling & ruins, so should be 1000x better hopefully.
