With school year instead of calendar year, this largely becomes a non-issue. The vast, vast majority of sophomores will turn 16 before their junior year starts. The vast, vast majority of graduating seniors will turn 18 before they start college. The majority will turn 18 before they graduate high school (summer birthdays excepted).![]()
somebody's always going to be the youngest and oldest, regardless of the date.
the issue for me is that NYC seems alone in using the calendar year I think. seems like most places use school year, which makes people who move in or out a bit out of sorts.
I just can't imagine 1/3 of the students not meeting those benchmarks in a given year. Odd choice NYC has made.
... ABC carpet has great variety. a little pricey, but not killer, and often have sales. that said- too expensive for me... but a normal human being being payed a normal human being wage, sure.
I counted this 4x while waiting with my son to play a game.
