NFC Championship GB@Seattle (4 Viewers)

For Bill Simmons / Cousin Sal fans, Sal has spoken here's his best bet this weekend he is 13-4-1 with his "best bet" this season:

Seattle Seahawks -7.5 (vs Green Bay Packers) " This one is easy because it is going to be ugly ... Sending a gimpy Aaron Rodgers into Seattle to play the Legion of Boom (Seahawks defensive backs), you might as well send him into North Korea with bootleg DVD copies of 'The Interview' because it is going to end up a disaster either way ... Seattle plays the great quarterbacks really well, 9-0 the last three years against Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. Green Bay is 2-10 against the spread in their last 12 as underdogs. [jokingly] What do you want? Do you want more numbers? Seattle is 14-3 against the spread versus winning teams in the second half of the year. I'm done trying to convince you! "

I have bad news for Seahawk fans.

A good friend of mine works at NFL.com and word around their office is that Roger is pushing for a Brady/Rodgers Super Bowl. Supposedly the fix is in, so it looks like the refs will be siding with Green Bay big time.

I hope the refs don't decide this game, but it doesn't look good right now.

They better worry about the other game--I think the Colts will give the Patriots a run for their money. If the Seahawks falter so much that the refs can influence the game I'll be shocked. Honestly, this game isn't going to be close.

Weather reports are coming in and it's expected to be windy. There is a local advisory beginning at 10pm tonight and runs through the afternoon. There are SW winds 15-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph and decreasing to 40 mph by the afternoon.

So the Colts will give the Patriots a run for their money but Green Bay has no chance vs the Seahawks? Lol. I love how the Pats are getting underestimated after last week's win. Pagano isn't Harbaugh or Rex Ryan.

That was my way of saying :tinfoilhat:

What's up with the Packers and Patriots fans these days? Everyone is trying really hard to play the "disrespect" card... :lmao:

I will be rooting for the Packers to win harder than I've ever rooted for them to win in the past. The reason has nothing to do with the opponent. The reason for me is that if the Packers lose, it will most likely be the last Packers game I get to watch with my mom. She's got stage 4 lung cancer and she's starting to head downhill. Prognosis was 6-12 months back in August when we got it. I'd love to be able to watch another Packers Super Bowl victory with her. So I'm really hoping for 2 more games instead of one. I'm hoping they can win them both and go out (at least for her) on top. She's the reason I am a Packer backer living in Michigan.
If the Seahawks lose, I'll at least have something to smile about

Did the Seahawks really give up 17 points and 370 yards to Carolina last week? At home?
How much of that came late in the game when the outcome was already decided? They got a bunch at the end before the pick-6, and then a bunch more on the meaningless drive after that. The Panthers racking up 83 yards on that score at the end when it was 31-10 doesn't mean a whole lot.

 Nice work.

I am looking at the back end of the Seahawks schedule. Lots of back up qbs and crappy qbs in general on their famed defensive run. . Is their defense really that good? I guess we will see tomorrow.

Lots of Hawk fans seem to think they are rubber stamped into the SuperBowl. You guys better hope the players are ready to play because this will be close.

Thanks for bumping that! I was waiting to bump it myself tomorrow, but I thought it might be poor form.

Every post you have at this forum is "poor form," why would it matter?

I hope this team loses in the playoffs because my Steelers are going to the SuperBowl and I'm not sure they can beat the Seahawks
I would welcome that rematch.
Oh hell yeah.
Best case scenario imo
There is no team that matches up well against Seattle right now. The AFC has a few solid teams but nobody that can really handle the Seahawks IMO. The only chance to take down the Seahawks will come from an NFC team (Packers or Cowboys).
I agree. But I really don't see Green Bay beating the Hawks in Seattle (or Green Bay for that matter). Capers won't be able to stop Wilson.
hmmm...i wonder whats really changed in 3 weeks...besides Rodgers getting injured

Every post? So you are calling me an 'internet message board loser'? Well, I guess you are right as you would certainly know, considering you have 70,000 posts on this message board alone. That sure is a lot of time invested on a fantasy football website. It is really nice to have a person like you on this board night and day to serve as the arbiter of FBG posting etiquette.

Only maybe two more years of your life until you hit 100,000 posts.

Packer fans are still feeling the sting of the Hail Mary. Not sure they will ever let that go. Hence

the constant crying.
Yeah...so hurt by it that only one Packer fan has

brought it up in here.

A regular season game almost 3 years ago

really gets to us. :lmao:
The fact that you responded says a lot. ?Time to let it go man.

Edit: Care to look one post above this? ?
L9ng since let that play go...and congrats, after you posted about how much Packer fans care about a 3 year old play...a fan that rarely posts mentioned it.

I keep hearing the packers are a different team..... You all realize the Hawks are as well?

I was listening to nfl network yesterday, and the consensus was both teams are improved from week 1, the hawks are just more improved.
Everyone who has said the Packers are different has said both teams are.

Hard for you to play the Seahawks are getting disrespected card.

I'm no Seahawk fan, but their "famed defensive run" has lasted like 2+ years now. I am pretty sure their defense is that good.

Saber, sorry to hear about your situation. Lost my grandmother to cancer and it's grueling. Hope you guys enjoy the game.

I was just posting a link to get the discussion focused on football, did not mean to start a whose crowd is loudest argument. However, Seattle fan's have now started two earthquakes by definition. Anyone else do that?

And the stupid Packers actually flew to Seattle and are going to actually play the game. What a joke.

They should have waited and read this, could have saved a few bucks for free agents next year.

Idiots

Safe estimate that 50k of the 70k are just pointless arguing and insulting of random strangers... It really is so pathetic.
