NFC Championship GB@Seattle (2 Viewers)

You know what I can't believe? I can't believe GB wasn't prepared for that. It's even worse than when they declined that personal foul. And nobody has even mentioned either of these events even once.

I still can't believe GB didn't see that coming.
Why wouldn't they decline the foul? The sack was 16 yards the foul was 15 yards.
Had to deline it, wasnt ruled a dead ball foul so would have wiped out the sack.

Mike Periera saying that personal foul was not a dead ball foul, not loss of down. Terrible call.
It's literally not even possible for it not to be a dead ball foul. If it wasn't a dead ball foul, then there was zero reason to even call it a penalty. But it clearly happened after the sack and was clearly a dead ball foul.

Mike Pereira sticking up the for refs when they clearly blew it once again. And he is getting shredded for it on Twitter.
Pereira didn't defend calling it a live ball. At least now that I've seen. Just said it wasn't called dead ball so not tacked on.

They wouldn't decline because it was a dead ball personal foul that should have been 15 yards tacked on.

Those who want to blame officials and the commish can erase the 7 points SEA has because only bad officiating allowed it to happen.

For the record.

But who is to say the fault is the ref's? It may have been the fault of the Packers coaches. They may not have understood the explanation from the refs and declined the penalty. The refs may be asking themselves "What the hell were they thinking?"

Yup. But left Packers with no choice.

Looked to me like GB was in a fake-aware formation on the fake FG but Hawk totally abandoned his responsibility. Even if the DL didn't prevent a first down, no way the holder was going to score

pretty sure this didn't happen. Heck not sure the refs even give you the option to decline a dead ball penalty?

This could be possible too. Won't know till after the game.

Good point, why would any team EVER decline a dead ball penalty??

See? What's changed since the ST TD by Seattle?

The Packers have shut them down all game. The TD didn't change that. Nothing has happened to show that any "momentum" had changed. Seattle needs to show something on offense before I'd be worried as a Packer fan (barring another crazy ST play or defensive TD from Seattle).

Refs announced it as "penalty is declined, the result of the play stands." So they obviously we're the ones that were wrong, not GB.

Russell Wilson on the sidelines firing up the Gatorade jug. Yeah, he's not concussed.

The way the referee explained it made it seem it wasnt a dead ball foul.
