I never would have thought the NFC South would fare so well this season. The biggest surprise is the Atlanta Falcons, but NO is only 1 game back.
Here are the PFT power rankings.

As the saying goes, "On any given Sunday....".
Take your pre-requisite homer grain of salt, but Atlanta hasn't exactly been getting lucky. They've played really good fundamental football, and I can't see them now, all of a sudden, succumbing to the pressure. I just don't think NO has enough Defense to pull it off, and Car vs TB is going to be a big tell, IMO. If they take another stumble in Lambeau, they could start to fall out altogether. Either way, should be a fun ride, and I ought to be happy just to be relevant. But I'm not. I want A) a winning season and B) a playoff berth. They've set the bar that high. If we win 10 and just miss, I'll be ok. But let's face it, we're currently ahead of Dallas in the playoff standings and they have a FAR more difficult schedule. Washington's is just ahead of us, and they're schedule, while easier than Dallas, includes the Giants and Ravens. NFC south could send 3 teams.
