In here is fine or in the Sleeper chat. Unfortunately it's just one by one@fbghomeleagues @Joe Bryant where is the right place to put questions about sleeper functionality? here?
my dumb boomer question is does the autopick queue that we create for autopick priorities have to be created manually one pick at a time? is that not a way to upload such a thing?
Yes champ. You check all my boxes. Years ago i cocommissioned a league and because an owner didn't check our boxes we actually booted the guy that won the league. Nobody is safe. Ha ha

I think the incentive to stay active is built in, when you are facing off against other Shark Poolers. But a simple must should be, anyone who throws in the towel will never ever be invited back. Quitters destroy leagues by giving free wins later on in the season. Quitters suck so bad.Agreed 100%. A league of 12 Shark Poolers who give it their best is all I am asking for. I don't care if I win every year. I just want the other 11 losers to try their best. This is my stance. Give me 11 active, competitive owners and I'm happy. Don't really care about League 1 vs League 2 and all that stuff. Not against it but getting relegated into a league with inactive owners would likely make me rethink where this falls on my league priority list.
I think the idea is to create incentives to keep people engaged and active the entire season.
There could be different formats and approaches to that end, but one idea I could see working well would be three or four regulation/promotion leagues max. You move up or down by finishing in the top or bottom three of each league. Those who finish bottom three in the bottom league wash out to make room for new players who are on a waiting list to enter the system.
This would create a bunch of excitement IMO due to the exclusivity and the prestige of being in and hopefully succeeding against other Sharkpoolers.
You could still create other Sharkpool home leagues seperate from this format, but this would be a cool way to heighten the stakes without additonal monetary commitment.
Relegation worked in the old No Mercy leagues, but there were 72 engaged owners who wanted to be promoted to the Great White and Hammerhead leagues, so most teams stayed competitive and active in order to avoid being bumped down into the Guppy league or god forbid the Bait Bucket. There was an incentive to not just win the league, but finish the season strong for the teams not in contention. I thought this was helpful in keeping everyone interested all season.Agreed 100%. Yeah the relegation promotion only works if people think of it as ONE big league. It's not being kicked out it's changing divisions taking a 36 person awesome group year over year with ideally minimal turnover in the 36.I think the incentive to stay active is built in, when you are facing off against other Shark Poolers. Agree 100%. With relegation, you could be kicked out of a league for having a bad luck season even if you are 100% active. Seems wrong to me. Kicking out people who are not active makes more sense.
And my take on this is, even if I have a “bad luck” year and get relegated out of League Uno…I get to compete against Winz and Barack and….so many other great posters here?!? I look forward to something like that.Yeah the relegation promotion only works if people think of it as ONE big league. We all may not know everyone in every league, but I have to assume with only 3/4 leagues, you will recognize almost everyone. And since they found the leagues by being in the Shark Pool, I am guessing they will be very active, and talk a ton of smack. And my take on this is, even if I have a “bad luck” year and get relegated out of League Uno…I get to compete against Winz and Barack and….so many other great posters here?!? Kicking out active members is a non-starter. But that's not the same as relegation.I think the incentive to stay active is built in, when you are facing off against other Shark Poolers. 4th league of 12 just needs setup there are at least 4 or 5 ready to register already.I'd sign up for a $50 redraft PPR today if someone wants to set up? 10 teamer?
I sent you a PM about thisNevermind I guess since I'm in Arizona. So stupid.
Legal States
SHGN, via subsidiary entities SportsHub Regulatory, LLC and SportsHub PA, LLC, is a licensed fantasy sports operator in most U.S. States and Canadian Provinces. You may play FBGL provided you are not physically located in the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Vermont and Washington, and in the province of Ontario, CA. We are legal in all other states and Canadian provinces. Unfortunately FBGL, like all season long fantasy contest operators, isn’t legal outside of US/Canada.

Yeah there will be plenty of fun activity. The concept of inactivity is getting too much airplay.
