NFL game broadcast in live 3D in theatres (1 Viewer)

Did anyone here go to the theatre to watch the Raiders-Chargers game broadcast in live 3D in select movie theatres last month? The BCS Championship game will be broadcast in live 3D this week and word has it that the NFL will be looking at how it has improved since last month.

Tickets are said to range from $18-$25. Would you be interested in seeing more NFL games broadcast in live 3D?

Not sure the appeal of 3D unless there are some advances in the filming techniques so we can see a running back come "right through" us or something like that. It's a 2-D game to watch, whether you are in the stands or watching on TV. Not sure what 3D is supposed to do.

I'm not sure what dimension you exist in, but when I am watching from the stands, the games I see are very much three-dimensional.

I already have my tickets for the BCS game in 3D. If you'd like, I can bump this after the game and post how it was.
