**NFL - London at Tottenham Hotspur - Broncos vs Jets**(+7.5, 43.5) 9:30am (1 Viewer)

You guys might be right about firing Glenn, but I can't buy it yet. Dan Campbell looked awful and cost the Lions some games early, he hired a bad OC and went 3 - 14 his first year and started 1- 7 his second year.

Got to give Glenn two full years.

I get it but no. No you absolutely don't. This is the first game you've seen.

I'm on number five and I'm not even phased by it. That drive at the end of the half. No biggie.
people out here comping him to Tomlin and Campbell FFS

I dislike this game for so many reasons:

Having to get up so early to watch my Broncos.
The stupid air raid siren.
It’s too early to drink a beer
The camera guy who can’t find the ball.

It is only 2nd quarter, so I am sure I will have a 1/2 dozen more before it is all said and done.
It’s never too early to drink beer.
If you are a Jets fan, you have an excuse to drink whatever you want whenever you want.

Looked like Garrett Wilson could be injured
looked like he got in A Glenn's face on their way into the locker room. could it be a benching?
That'd somehow be Glenn's worst decision yet
I don't really see how it makes a difference. What's Wilson gonna do? Catch a downfield pass from Fields?

Seems unlikely
Well. I mean I tend to like having more points in my boxscore(s) than less. Certainly don't give a hoot about the Jets. They have this game in the bag.

Nobody likes Dan Campbell more than me and I want it for him almost more than the Jets (okay, that's a lie), but they haven't made it out of the NFC, so . . .

This wasn't the Bill Walsh or Sean McVay tree where you grab the innovative offensive mind and set about getting the right QB and try to run SF or LA East.

Some Jets fans do.

Some of us already used our millionth excuse for why things were just a little too bright out today under the sun . . .

The Broncos have got to be a frustrating team to root for
No consistent running game, Nix is up and down, not sure he has the best Wide Receivers to throw the ball to

-Rich Eisen as a Jets fan in the booth is hard to digest right now
The Jets are terrible and yes they are right in this football game

Go back and read my first sentence

agreed....but someone needs to be in his ear over the gutless finish to that first half

Dude, he fake punted with his starting halfback in the game on special teams.

that's not gutless in the least. bruh was confused and nervous.

The gutless part was running the clock out after the fake punt

the gutless part is all game long for the last 5 weeks

I see the Steelers game and it didn't look bad. I get that the Jets are your team and you might be right about Glenn, but you are overreacting.

The most astounding thing about this game is that DEN is in real danger of losing.

The NFL ought to be refunding the cost of the tickets for fraudulently staging a sporting event.

Steelers game the OC was running a masterclass. I was jazzed.

Not overrreacting. I'm weirdly calm. All the red flags started in camp. It's cumulative. I also remember following y'all in Detroit and through all the injuries who kept running man? And insisting on being inflexible?

Yeah . . .

I already had red flags from DET

weird how they run it on 2nd and long every single time

and fail every single time. 3rd and long the thing they're trying to avoid yet there they are every single time.

Man, after seeing Breece escape that hit in the backfield you really wonder what he could do on a team with a competent offense

By the way, he is going to get time. I want him to turn it around. I don't even know what good typing it does. I just am going to wind up annoying people. It's just that there are a ****ton of people here watching this for the first time and I just wanted to say, "Hey, Jets fans are already on this."

Hey, your buddy Smith made a play on special teams.

Head will likely roll in guillotine league thanks to Fields' performance.

Maybe that's the lesson I need to stay off of this train once and for all.

Then again his time as a starter is likely over after this season.

Did you read me upthread about me and SumerBrain and the Jets and EPA and second and long?

You might not have. I'm just curious.

Someone should do some kind of analysis on this to see what their percentage is, how often they do it, and how successful they are.

Ironically I used that exact wording on Reddit this morning. I said I didn't mind if the Jets' coaches underwent a visit to the metaphorical guillotine.

I did not (but I will) but I've been talking **** about coaches running it up the middle on 2nd and long since the mid 1980s when I was in the single digits. It's just obviously painfully a bad strategy. If you happen to be running really well and have momentum it's a different story but these kinds of coaches don't know how to put their struggling QBs in good positions.
