NFL MVP - Most Valuable Player (1 Viewer)

Didn't see a thread, apologies if it is a :honda:

Does anyone jump out at you?

Peyton again?

Foster?

Maybe even Sanchez?

I am probably missing someone, but I can't think off hand. Gates pre-injury?

I don't see an RB going nuts, a QB on a crazy pace (other than Orton, but is he a legit MVP candidate?)

It almost seems too easy to say Peyton Manning, but there really is no other clear-cut candidate right now, so considering that Indy's defense is not good this year and their running game stinks as usual, Manning is the rather easy choice right now, especially when you consider their 4-2 record and look at his numbers.

I'd pick either of these three.

Polamalu: Pitt is where they are right now because of their D. Look at the change between last year and this year. The difference? Troy is healthy.

Brady and Manning: Both of these guys for the same reasons. They both lead two of the top offenses in the league with average supporting casts and below average defenses. The Pats nor the Colts would be good at all without them.

This year I'd say Troy isn't even the Steelers' defensive MVP. Timmons has to be the Steelers' defensive MVP so far.

Peyton

Foster

Foster with the edge. Haven't watched enough Steeler games to weigh on Polamalu, but would guess he is in it too from others tossing him in the discussion.

Gonna nominate Troy Polamalu.
Silly rabbit MVP trophies are for QB's and RB's.
Agreed. But I was being far more literal-- Most Valuable Player. In which Troy deserves to be nominated, even if he wouldnt win the trophy.
Hell, if you're talking Steelers it's probably Timmons. Switch has flipped for him something crazy this season.
He is 100% healthy for the first time. But remove Troy or remove Timmons and the difference is far more dramatic with Troys absence.
