As of August the 1st Comcast has moved the NFL Network from their Sports Package to their NFL Digital Classic package.

Since I already had the Classic package, I had to call end remove the Sports Package from my bill. I'm now saving $5.65 a month. If you had a setup like mine you may want to call and do the same.

I'm new to Comcast (just a week) with the Digital triple play and hadn't yet got the sports package, thus hadn't been able to watch NFLN. I noticed yesterday I was getting it and wondered why. I thought it might be a free weekend tease or something like they do with the premium movie channels sometimes. This is great.

Woohoo. I checked on Sunday, and I still couldn't get it, so I figured this was just regional. I just checked again, and it's good today, so I guess it just took a couple of days to flip the switch.
