NFL Practice Squads (1 Viewer)

All are welcome, but I think this is mostly for deep leagues and Dynasty guys - unless your own team(s) are mentioned.

Regardless, please post PS moves here.

TIA.

Ravens signed Marcus Mason to their practice squad. Looks like he's useless to everyone except Rice and to some degree McGahee owners.

Texans' Cuts

NAME POSITION HT. WT. COLLEGE

Kevis Coley LB 6-1 228 Southern Miss.

Darnell Jenkins WR 5-10 188 Miami (Fla.)

Gabe Long DT 6-3 290 Utah

Jesse Nading DE 6-5 258 Colorado St.

Derrick Roberson CB 5-10 185 Rutgers

Mark Simmons WR 5-10 187 Kansas

Also, the team released tackle Cliff Washburn and signed defensive end Stanley McClover (6-2, 263), a 2006 seventh-round draft choice of the Carolina Panthers. In 11 games last season, McClover had seven tackles and a sack. The former Auburn Tiger was waived by Carolina on Saturday.

Note: washburn is probably member 8 of the PS if he clears waivers.

Jeff, can you possibly post what the rules to a practice squad are, for those who don't know?

Can practice squad players play in 2008?

Can other teams claim them?

How many people generally make up a practice squad?

and any other general info that would be informative.

Thanks

I wish some of them would have gone to other teams so I could see them play...oh well

It's neat that Cliff Washburn, Horace Grant, and Scott Paxson can continue their athletic careers in the NFL after playing in the NBA years ago
