@JasonLaCanfora As noted before, only Buffalo picked before Cleveland in each round and Browns have spent a lot of time around Baylor program last few years
@TomPelissero Can't believe the NFL has yet to find a way to stretch the supplemental draft into a three-day event.
:lmao:

@LanceZierlein Spoke w/ Danny Arnold from PLEX who worked Gordon out over last 6 wks. He thinks Gordon still has work to do w/ body control running routes@caplannfl #Browns, from day one, never hid their interest on Gordon. Never backed off. They love size/speed ratio. Plays faster than 40-time.@ProFootballWkly Nawrocki on Josh Gordon: "Gordon is still raw as a route runner. ... he showed he could be a big-play, vertical receiver in 2010."@caplannfl #Browns had Gordon in for a visit last week. Only team he visited.@RobRang Aggressive move for a Cleveland Browns team needing help at receiver. I just question how ready Gordon is to contribute in 2012.

If the move works out it was a decent idea.

There is a good chance that the browns are picking in the top 5 again. That makes this pick a 2.01-2.05. That is a pretty high pick.

Every Rookie is a crap shoot but this one seemed to be an even bigger longshot.

There is no way Gordon goes for even a 4th, never mind a 2nd or 3rd.

I'm here to eat my crow, I'm still shocked. I was completely wrong on this one, I either need to reevaluate him completely, or seriously question the Browns FO.
The Browns have been so bad for so long, I really wanna root for them to turn it around for their fans, but the Weeden pick and now this have me seriously wondering. Hopefully it works out for them.

That's asinine. There's no way to know how he would have performed this season, nevermind the fact that he would have been playing at a junior college or whatever.
