NFL Trivia - franchise career scoring leaders (1 Viewer)

Most franchise career scoring leaders are kickers. That is the case for 30 of the 32 teams.

Which 2 teams don't have kickers as their career scoring leaders?

Niners and Cowboys? Figuring it has to be a top player with a lot of years with a single club.

Not sure if that's right, but Rice and Emmitt were the first two that came to mind for me.ETA: Though I suppose that might be the "obvious" answer, and maybe the actual answer is just some franchise that has never had a kicker stay very long? Maybe one of the (relatively) recent expansion franchises or something?

Yep, figured it was going to be a pretty easy one.49ers was a no brainer with Rice. Whether there would be a second such team I wasn't sure until I went and looked, but Cowboys with Emmitt was another good chance. For most teams the non-kickers aren't even close to the leader. Shaun Alexander and Steve Largent were two of the closer ones, though they are still 100+ points behind.

Other kind of cool thing, was Morten Andersen is the career scoring leader for both New Orleans and Atlanta.
