NFL warned by 6 attorneys general to fix workplace harassment issues or face investigation (1 Viewer)

"Guys stop doing sexual assault or we'll be forced to investigate all the reports of sexual assault."

Left wing or right wing, we can all agree that our government does a great job of caring for the billionaire.

Can't turn the heat up enough on most of these owners. You don't obtain what most of them have without committing many wrongs in life, especially with the moral compass so many in here like to project.

I know this seems like quibbling, but sexual assault is a crime.  Maintaining a hostile workplace generally isn't.  Those issues are handled completely differently.

Do you really think anything will happen to any of the owners because of something like this?  That the NFL won't make some sort of lip service move, like their post Ray Rice anti-abuse ad campaign, that has no real impact?  Trot out a black female sub commissioner, something like that?

After the whole "Synder is stealing from everyone" thing broke and Jerry Jones didn't instantly hire a hit man, I think they might all be untouchable.

I don't disagree.   My comment was not meant to be about the NFL as a whole but more so the few prominent people/teams (Watson/WFT) that are grabbing the headlines.

You mean like when Michael Vick was revealed as a dog killer and pushed many females away from the NFL(guys too)...does anyone remember what the NFL did that season to make sure women knew they were important to the NFL? Pink socks, pink wristbands, pink everything in honor of breast cancer awareness, this was before they opened it up to almost all cancers in recent years. The pink display was a marketing ploy by the NFL, my mother died of breast cancer so I was offended when they latched on to that and used it as a way to show they cared(they don't).

We better cut this right about now before it turns into an all out NFL assault, Once Upon a Time there was a Roger Goodell tribute thread, something about a Civil War but like so many great threads they tend to get shut down when enough folks get their feelings hurt so tread lightly here Goldie.

tread lightly here Goldie.
It's been a while since someone has called me Goldie.  Feel kinda nostalgic.

I live right next to Philly and I remember a friend of mine swore off the Eagles for life after Vick.  They loved their dogs (which is true) volunteered at an animal shelter (also true) and how could anyone possibly support an organization that would blahblahblah

Guess who was at the parade when the Eagles won the superbowl?

I love the sport but the people, the people I can do without.

Eventually the NBA ran Sterling out. There's probably a bridge too far for the NFL too.
