10:30 a.m. Sportsnet's John Shannon reports the asking price for Sabres forward Chris Stewart is now down to a third-or fourth-round draft pick with the Sabres willing to take on salary as part of the trade.

yeah. already saw that.

I think they should consider re-signing him over taking a return that low.

Sounds like Stewart is interested in going back to Buffalo next season anyway. Would seem like a win-win just to get something for him.

Neuvirth last month has 3 wins,2.28 GAA and a .938 SP

Just seals the tanking is all I'm saying.Removes any doubt they get a top 2 player.

Probably good to get a better backup for Halak. Islanders need to sit him more leading up to the playoffs. Always seemed to wear down with the Blues.

I am so sick of watching Ian Cole play so I'm glad to see him go. That said, he will probably eventually develop into a decent 3rd pairing guy.
