NHL Off-Season thread:Down goes Kane! (1 Viewer)

Caps win a wild one in Montreal. Now tied with Isles and a point up on Pens.

51 and 52 for Ovie. Hart front-runner now?

Soft goal getting by Dubs cost Mn. They came out a bit flat, but nothing too bad considering the four days off. It was an exciting finish. They need to rebound Saturday when they host Detroit.

I only saw part of the game (from 10 mins in the 3rd period) and it looked like a pretty even game. Rangers got the benefit of a couple of icing calls late in the game. Guess the linesman was making up for a poor St. Louis icing call.

Wild were way flat in the first and it cost them. taking 4 high stick penalties didn't help either. linesmen with weird calls all game, nothing devastating though. Rangers deadly with point shot/deflections all night.

it feels like just yesterday Caps fans were talking about buying out Ovechkin's contract.
Had Hunter stuck around they might not have had any choice given how demanding he was and maybe it was a wakeup call for Ovie.Oates got his offensive game back on track and now Trotz has him playing better in both ends so it worked out for the best.

Guy is an amazing goal scorer and this generations best.

And now Kruger just went to the dressing room after a hard hit into the boards. Can't tell if it was shoulder or not. Maybe collarbone with how he was skating to the dressing room.

OK Islanders fans - is it OK to begin to panic yet ?
hope that 1st round draft pick keeps getting pushed a little higher
I remember the days where Isles fans hoped for a higher draft pick each and every year - have fun with that.

Not that I'm not enjoying this tanking but wtf happened to them?
They really miss Grabovski.

Idiot Head Coach who continues to give big minutes to the likes of Strait, Hickey and Boulton and has no clue on making in game adjustments.

Just bury The Sabres today.

The Penguins aren't good. Only team in league to not have a victory when trailing after the second period. Very little secondary scoring. Can't hold a lead. New coach, same problems.

Trailing 3-0 after 10 minutes, Caps will take that point. Got 3 out of 4 possible points in swing through MTL and OTT
