What's the view of Nick Collins stock in GB going into 2007 (dynasty perspective)?

He posted 2006 numbers consistent with his 1st season, but I'd heard rumor of some pass coverage concerns. Can anyone provide an update? Thx!

There are some pass coverage concerns but the coaching staff hasn't been too disappointed with how Collins has developed. Marquand Manuel was certainly a bigger liability in deep coverage than Collins. A major issue moving forward will be how well AJ Hawk develops. It'll be difficult for Collins to make many tackles in run support if Hawk continues to make plays in pursuit and intermediate zone coverage. Collins has the coverage stats to reach solid DB2 status in standard scoring leagues, but won't reach that ceiling if he can't reach the 80 solo tackle mark.

Packer Homer here, Jene was correct Marquand Manuel is a huge liability in pass coverage. There was also a big concern with the communication in the Packer defensive backfield this last season. Way too many big plays given up because of missed assignments. Part of it is some new players & coaches.Hard to gauge Collin's value because the LB situation is unsettled. There are rumors that Nick Barnett does not want want to leave the middle LB position and move to the strong side. I'm not 100% sure that they are trying to move him to a different position. Also not sure how Green Bay will use Abdul Hodge and the other LBs.Also, there are so many needs on the Packer's roster, no one can project what Green Bay will do in the upcoming draft. Hopefully, some offensive skill players are on high on their priority list.I heard that Green Bay has a lot of room under the salary cap, so many things can happen to influence Collin's value.
