**Niners at Texans**(-1.5. 42) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

This one of those games where I think Vegas knows. On paper, its kinda wild that the 5-2 49ers are underdogs to the 2-4 Texans who are missing their best player (Nico) and yet, I kinda see it.

I think Houston is probably gonna be the toughest matchup all season for CMC. The Texans are the #1 defense against RBs in the pass game (not that CMC is really just a RB) and the Texans DL should dominate the LoS. Colton McKivitz is having a solid season, but he hasn't seen Will Anderson yet. I do think this is a week that the Jones/Bourne duo could get back on track. I expect Kittle to be used more as a blocker again (he'll obviously do better than last week, but not expecting a big game)

I think CJ Stroud actually has a bit of a bounceback week even without Nico. Those in a pinch at WR (or looking for a cheap DFS dart) might want to look at Jaylin Noel. 49ers are vulnerable in the slot, and Noel has looked better than Higgins to me (and that was arguably true in college too)

I think the Texans need it more and eke out a win.

People talk up this defense like they're the 85 Bears but they're very inconsistent and undisciplined. I don't see elite. Above average, maybe.

ep. Vs TB was prime example when it counted and game is on the line and pressure ramped up their defense folds.
 
Right call.there. making it a two score game better than going for the end zone. Draw or screen was perfect, let him try to break one.
