Niners vs. Raiders (1 Viewer)

LHUCKS

The Niners looked much improved.

Niners O line blocked much better, Gore was pass protecting well as usual.

Smith had a terrible pick, but overall looked improved.

Braylon Edwards had a really nice play on a 9 route.

Vernon Davis was the first read on a lot of plays, he'll be getting a ton of targets this year if this first half is any indication.

Gore was his usual self...they pulled him pretty early which is good.

Campbell looked pretty bad IMHO.

Bush ran hard as usual.

Heyward Bey actually fought for a pretty tough ball and came down with it...first time I've ever seen him do that.

that's what stood out to me.

Hunter breaks a 50 yard TD...great blocking up front by the Niners again.

How about the olines for both the 48ers and the Raiders? How did they look?
Who knows? With these QB's no one can gather any info. Campbell got destroyed becasue he didn't get rid of the ball and decided running around was a good idea. Capt. Checkdown is bad. Boller isn't even an NFL QB. Alex Smith is still Alex Smith.

Even discounting his 52-yard run, which was pretty much given to him, Hunter looked a lot better than Dixon. Looks like he has good balance that he uses to break tackles, something I've never seen Dixon do.

Pretty much agree with most of what's posted above, but keep in mind that Hunter played against Oakland's 2nd string D, Dixon played against the 1st string.

I was a bit puzzled how the niners just ran the ball for the last 1.5 quarters to seal the game. In the regular season, absolutely - the running game was working. In preseason, I'd have thought they'd want to give Kap and some WR's a bit more game experience.

Maybe Harbaugh just wanted to give his QB some experience to learn how to trust the players around him (ie, the running game.)

Did D. Moore play,,, haven't seen anything on him ???
yes, but the Raiders suckThis is why this messageboard spends too much energy discussing Raider WR "sleepers"Regardless of how good the WR is, they'll be inconsistent at best.

He looks like a #1 WR. Someone you throw a jump all in the end zone to. I'm not sure if he's the best WR on the Raiders yet but I don't see why he couldn't be.
Thx for the feedback u too lhucks,,, stats??
He looks like he can play, but I'm not draftig any Raiders WR unless it's a deep best ball type format. There will be too much inconsistency for a standard redraft league.
