Here's a car-carrier truck driving down a staircase onto the Boston Common.

Anyone who knows the roads around The Common... NO WAY a truck gets stuck driving down a staircase like this by accident, right?

I mean, even my wife drives better than that. This must have been intentional. And no... I'm not so sure my wife could have done this intentionally.

 He obviously blew through the T intersection and went down the staircase. I can see that happening pretty easily.

So most trucks are able to keep on driving after going down the staircase?

All I can say is, if a CDL Class "A" truck driver of Teamster persuasion can do this, I'm going to give my wife a lot more slack next time she makes a left turn into a rotary going the wrong way.

What would happen if your wife lost her brakes? Probably not so benign.

Probably not much different than if she hadn't lost her brakes.

Doesn't use much steering , either.

"According to Boston Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Brooks said the flatbed was being guided by police off Beacon Hill when the vehicle lost its brakes."

must be their fault.
