Why are his projections so LOW?

Probably figure him being a 2 down backer, Vilma and Fujita playing nickel. Is he a lock to start?

He appears to be the starter. For the most part I think he's played well this preseason, when you consider how bad he stunk it up last year.

Managed 43 solos in a nearly full time role last season over 14 games, with no games more than five solos and no significant big play value. There's no way he's racking up tackles behind a solid run defending DL, next to Vilma and competing with Fujita and Harper for pursuit tackles while playing only on base defensive downs. I'd think 50 solos is his absolute ceiling.
