Charlotte, NC | A North Carolinian woman was brutally ejected from a ladies’ bathroom yesterday after nearby police officers were alerted by local citizens that a transgender was using a public women’s bathroom.

Color me shocked. Shocked, I say, that somebody might have used really vague notions of identity for their own gratification. 

Silly. Identity is deeper than self, for sure.

These laws have a long way to go before they are fully tweaked for mass consumption.  I live in a very liberal area that supports transgender rights, but if something like this happened locally they would go ape#### crazy :lmao:

I really don't get how anyone thinks a guy with junk should be allowed to use the women's restroom.  Would you want your daughter subjected to that?  Perhaps they should start building special restrooms for transgenders?

What would my daughter be subjected to?  They have stalls in the women's bathroom.  They aren't squatting out in the open pissing into holes in the ground.

What if the man is posing as a transgender just so he can be in the girls restroom?  I'm sure there are times when women expose some skin while not in the stalls in the restroom.

What about women's locker rooms?  These same idiots wanting to allow men to use women's locker rooms simply because they say they identify as being a women, would be allowed to view women changing clothes.  What if they are just pretending to be transgenders for this purpoe?  Women's restrooms, locker rooms, you pick, they both have no place for men.  I sure as hell wouldn't want a man watching my wife or granddaughter changing clothes simply because he said he identifies himself as a women when he was born a man.  Perhaps transgenders need their own restrooms and locker rooms.

I don't do Facebook.  I used to, but  I think it is ruinng lives, so I cannot do Facebook because it would make me a hypocrite.  Look, I just don't think women and especially underage girls should be subjected to men watching them change clothes in restrooms or locker rooms.  It's what I believe in and I think most believe in that as well.

Bullying for one.  I've seen or read about many young people's lives ruined by social media in general.   Some commit suicide over things said about them or pics shown on Facebook and other social media.  I refuse to support things for which I don't think there is any control over.

I guess pervs don't bother you?  I know most transgenders wouldn't be perverts but I'm sure some would take advantage of the opportunity to use this as an avenue for their desires.

People going out of their way to make other people uncomfortable is undesirable. Acting out against others via sexually objectifying them is a bad thing.

That has nothing to do with what I wrote. Nudity in and of itself shouldn't be such a big deal. Might even be that if it was less taboo, you'd have fewer "pervs."

If you bothered to read the article you would know that is the fake hate crime thread.

To get things back on track, there have been over 100 hate crime hoaxes in the past 10 years. (These are true stories about fake hate crimes, whereas the OP's article is a fake story about a fake hate crime)

I remember the gay priest in TX writing *** on his birthday cake and then trying to blame Whole Foods, that was pretty pathetic. 

I also remember the angry black women fabricating the attack by a gang of white people on the party bus in Albany, even more pathetic.

Some of these I had never heard of before, it is an eye opening article.

So you'd be in favor of just doing away with archaic gender specifications for one restroom that all people can use. 

 
I feel like both sides here should concede some points to the other side. This really isn't a clear issue. Both sides have legitimate points.

So even though there's already a law stating that you can't secretly record naked women and post it on the internet, he needs another law to make sure he doesn't go in there. Good thing the only thing stopping him is that additional law.

 
Just heard the Governor of Texas he won't take Obama's 30 pieces of silver to allow people to use the bathroom where they feel comfortable.  What a sanctimonious POS.
