Not directly NFL, but RIP Bobby Bowden (1 Viewer)

He passed early this morning.

While not directly NFL, his NFL legacy is strong. Brad Johnson, Warrick Dunn, Anquan Bolden, Javon Walker, Laverneous Coles, and a slew of OL & defensive players all coached by Bowden.

Seems like a coach who did it the right way, even though I’m not a fan of the team.

So pour one out for BB today. He definitely helped to make college football exciting.

Wow…31 year career as HC, his only losing season was in his first year when he went 5-6. 😳

RIP.  Made for fun college football.
Single-handedly turned a non-football school into a premier football school.

just heard on the radio that he was 91, and had recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He reportedly died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by friends and family.

Wide right. Dadgummit. RIP coach.

Hurricane fans gated the Gators, but not the Seminoles, because Bobby was a gentleman. If not for Miami, FSU would've won more national championships.

Simple enough. RIP to an important man in college football. His legacy can be debated elsewhere and at a different time. Unless a person is truly evil, in the immediate aftermath of death, I suggest a simple RIP.
