I totally forgot that episode. That was a tough one to watch. Marked down in my book then. Until then she was just mildly overbearing, not ungrateful.

The biography wants to make a pre-Snoopy and post-Snoopy observation about Peanuts. Some of the more hardcore literary types like the cartoon without the sunshine he brings to the proceedings. They find it realer. I dissent. Schultz’s viewpoint needs more light, and Snoopy helps out with that. Other than him, the comic really is sort of bleak. It’s about little children with adult thoughts in a world borne of agnosticism and Godlessness. No fun. I like dancing teenagers, as Schultz called Snoopy. The eternal teenager.

Yeah, I did that. Was absolutely trying desperately to not drink that week. I was in a foreign country. The worst was Spain in the hotel we were at that served as a hotel for students. Awful hotel. Normally would have gunned a gallon of vodka down that day and evening but thought better if it.
