Jason Campbell will start at quarterback for the Raiders against the Denver Broncos as long as his injured left knee holds up, coach Tom Cable said Friday.
Campbell was limited in practice Friday for the third straight day. However, he "was pretty close" to where he needs to be to start Sunday against the Broncos, Cable said.
"If it stays this way, it would be him," Cable said, as long as there aren't any setbacks.
Cable termed regular starter Bruce Gradkowski (shoulder) "very questionable," although he got in more work Friday than he had the past two weeks.
Kyle Boller also worked with the first-team offense in practice for the third straight day. He is ready to make his first start since last season (when he was with the St. Louis Rams) if needed.
