Ochocinco threatens Ray Lewis (1 Viewer)

Chad Ochocinco has been talking a considerable amount of trash about the Ravens this week in anticipation of the two teams' meeting this weekend, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times. Among other things, he has said he's going to hit Ray Lewis in the mouth, and referred to cornerback Domonique Foxworth as "Vivica A. Foxworth."

Chad & Ray Lewis are buddies, I've seen them on NFL Net together at the Super Bowl. Far cry from the days when division rivals actually hated each other.

Yeah, this is just classic Chad, talkin trash. Gotta love this guy! anything for some camera time! I am sure that Ray Ray was probably the one who told him to say it anyway. The Vivica A. Foxworth line is hilarious though!

I don't think there is a player in the league Chad doesn't get along with. They all know his angle so there will never be hard feelings.

Chad and Ray being buddies doesn't necessarily mean that Ray won't look for the chance to knock Chad out then kneel and pray over Chad's limp, jacked-up body.

This.It seems like almost every FBG to post in this thread loves them some Ocho. Why? On one hand I'm glad he's back to putting in the time and effort to produce on the field but I really am sick of the weekly (seriously, it's EVERY week) "Ochocinco say/does _____" story. It's beyond old at this point. I've never considered myself a basher of Chad Johnson but I'm starting to feel like one.

Now get off my lawn!!
 I almost wrote that at the end of my own post. I'm just not a fan of Ocho's antics anymore. It's too close to wrestling posturing for me. #85 lost me with his offseason crap two years ago and he cemented that place with his sulking performances on the field last season.

I hear you, jake. I forgot the :hophead: at the end of my post as well. His shtick plays infintely better when they are winning a few games. Thats why I think I am so entertained so far this year.

Last year when he was not performing well and the Bengals were losing, most here thought that CJ should be run out of CINCINATTI and this year the majority of posters love them some Chad.

Winning and TDs make an impact.

Winning and TD's never hurt but I came around on Chad after watching Hard Knocks.

Ought Oh...Chad could wind up dead for such an act against Ray Lewis.

Probably the same threatening tone used by that poor guy in Atlanta.

I :wall: ocho.

Last week dude ewnt to dinner at J Alexanders, tweets about it and tells people to meet him there. 20 folks show up and he buys dinner and drinks for all his fans, taking pics with them. Two nights ago he goes to Gamestop to buy NBA2K10 or something... tweets saying he's buying a copy of the game to anyone who's there at midnight.

Guy gets it. :yucky:

Ochocinco comes off as a guy that truly enjoys life and appreciates everything that he has. Good for him.

:pokey: All I got to say is kiss da baby and shut the front door!!! :hot:

Alot of people don't like what Chad is doing but it's really very smart. He's marketing himself and creating a brand. Of course without success on the field he has nothing. Put it this way, without his antics ... he probably doesn't get on PTI the other day ... I (and all the other PTI viewers) don't hear his little Denzel Washington thing where he says that if there's a lockout he may do some acting (seemingly joking) ... I (and probably some others) don't think to themselves that he might be great in a sort of Fast&Furious or RushHour type of movie. Maybe he's trying to create some kind of a career along those lines for himself after football. If he's smart, that's his aim. Then again maybe he's just a jackass seeking attention for attentions sake.

They probably still want to run him out of Cleveland.

Chi' Pleeez!

Oooops too much focus on the Braylon trade. They might welcome him in Cleveland with Edwards gone, but probably not.

anyway edited to Cinci

We need more Chads in the NFL.
Maybe one more, but you can't manufacture it. Chads a natural. You gotta love it. But it just doesn't work if he's not having success on the field. Sort of like Shaq having a tv show, noone would pick up the Illgauskas show (Cavs center who now comes off bench for Shaq).

I find it funny that chad can say this crap and it's ok because him and lewis are "friends", but last year Mendenhall sent a text to his FRIEND (Rice) as a joke, and it was blown out of porportion to an unbelievable level, something is not adding up here.

On Monday, he called out Ravens cornerbacks Domonique Foxworth and Fabian Washington. He continued on Wednesday, saying he has an end zone celebration planned that would look like something out of the movie “Talladega Nights.”

“The motto in the movie is: ‘If you ain’t first, you’re last.’ That’s a hint of the celebration,” Ochocinco said. “It’s going to be funny. I will pull a Ricky Bobby. The fine money has been sent early.

As far as facing the Ravens’ corners, Ochocinco already has checked them off his list saying, “They really don’t stand a chance anyway.”

Ochocinco is friends with Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, but he has not talked with him this week. The ninth-year receiver said that Baltimore is his favorite team to play. But that didn’t stop him from having fun at Lewis’ expense.

“I’m looking forward to embarrassing him and his team whether he is a friend or not. We won’t be friends once 1 p.m. hits on Sunday,” Ochocinco said. “Once the whistle hits, it’s time to kiss the baby. And for anyone who doesn’t like it, that’s a Baltimore ‘child, please.’”

 Definitely one of the few players I'd go out of my way to meet if he were ever in the area.

Ray lewis is a punk. Hope he tastes that personal foul on the game losing drive in every meal next week.

WOW, Ray rocked him. Maybe it doesn't matter if they are homies!
And Chad jumped right back up, the ref threw the deserved flag on Lewis, the Bengals drive continued, and they came from behind and beat the Ravens.
The fine will be pretty solid for that one too. Johnson was lucky not to be hurt.Bengals with a 1.5 game lead in the Central - go figure.
NorthOh, and I look forward to reading Chad's tweets every time I logon to TwitterHe's doing tons of cool stuff - buying food/drinks for fans, contests for each home game with the winner getting an all expenses paid trip to the game, begging for people to pick him up at the airport (CLE) and offering to take them on a shopping spree if they do. From his breakup with his longtime girlfriend to McDonalds to trying to sneak into the stadium late at night to bug the coaches, Ocho Cinco just seems fun.The guy is amusing and seems very genuine.
