Name is on the list, please make selections using these point spreads. All pick MUST MUST MUST be in by 8:00PM West Coast time Saturday Night...if you post after, your picks will not count and you automatically will be dropped from the contest moving forward. Got it? Good.
Let's jump to the games.
Baltimore at Cincinnati (-3) (42)...We will not be allowing this as a pick3 game because of the Thursday start.
Ask yourself why a team that is 9-2 is a 3 point underdog to a team that has almost no defense on a regular basis. Both teams pitched a shutout last week…the Ravens were a little more impressive beating the Steelers 27-0.
Minnesota at Chicago (-9) (36)
The Bears are turning into a very ordinary team as of late. Vikes are 5-6 but still alive for a playoff birth. A win here would move them to .500 and possibly a late season run. The offense is starting to come around.
Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh (-7) (41)
The Bucs are awful. The Steelers all season have responded hard when they lose a big game like last week. Remember what they did to KC at home…this game could get ugly too.
Arizona at St Louis (-6.5) (46.5)
Leinart is showing major signs of life. Fitz is back and healthy now…have to think the score might be closer than some expect.
Indianapolis (-7.5) at Tennessee (47.5)
Ho hum…Colts move to 11-1 on the season.
Jacksonville at Miami (Pk’em) (35.5)
Miami has an awful lot of momentum right now.
San Fran at New Orleans (-7) (45.5)
Hmmmm…I don’t like this game at all.
Atlanta at Washington (-1) (38.5)
Here’s another I would pass on.
Kansas City (-5) at Cleveland (36)
KC has not done well when they have been road favorites. They stunk @ Pitt, they also played poorly @AZ…a 20-17 affair here will not surprise me. Trent Green has got to crank it up if they are going to go anywhere in the playoffs.
Detroit at New England (-13.5) (42)
NT for Detroit is back in the mix. NE has been relying on their running game, and Detroit was actually decent against the run earlier in the season. 27-17 New England wins.
San Diego (-6) at Buffalo (43.5)
The Chargers cannot play as bad as they did against Oakland and expect to win this game. San Diego might be in trouble this weekend. Might be.
NY Jets at Green Bay (pk’em) (42.5)
I’ll take the over
Dallas (-3.5) at NY Giants (44)
Dallas is on a roll…so in the NFL that means the Giants will wax the floor with them.
Houston at Oakland (-3) (36.5)
Ratings will be high for this game…puke!
Seattle at Denver (-3.5) (39.5)
More amazing Sunday Night Football and the premiere of Jay Cutler.
Carolina (-3) at Philadelphia (37.5)
Philly is in a nosedive right now that won’t end till the season comes to a crashing end for them. Panthers in a rout.
My top3 this week will be
GB/NYJ (42.5) Over
Carolina (-3)
Seattle (+3.5)
Good luck all. And if you're smart, you'll take the opposite of what I picked as I have stunk this season with NFL games.
