Of course I missed the existing topic. Doh (1 Viewer)

Two names come to mind in Perriman & Boone, but there are others. Anyone starting either over an otherwise proven commodity? What about Greg Ward, Danny Amendola or Boston Scott?

Sometimes being bold brings home the trophy. Other times it backfires horribly.

how would you rank the replacements & who would you start them over?

Injury replacement is one thing, but would you start one or both of these guys over one of your core players due to matchup or trend?

Personally, I managed to pick up both for the LCG, and I’m considering Perriman over Cooper (recent struggles, Dak shoulder injury) and Boone over Singletary going (against the #1 Pats defense IF I get word before Sat that Mattison & Cook are out).

Bold or conservative? What’s your dilemma? Maybe some group therapy can help your decision or talk you off the ledge.

and sometimes it is just so-so and kind of middle of the road......

This is somewhat based on the projections and if you are expected to win or not.  Typically I go in playing the guys I think will score the most points......that is the goal after all.   However, in a game that I am a heavy underdog and need everyone to hit their ceiling to have a chance under normal circumstances I will do a calculated boldness.  I would play a boom/bust guy and hope he goes boom.  I would play the stack and hope it hits since that is likely the only way I have a shot to win.

On the flip side if I am heavily favored I want high floor guys in my toss up decisions.  The safe play is better.  I may play a QB that pairs with their WR to minimize damage.

Bottom line these things usually only come into play in toss up decisions.  If I have one guy rated much higher than another I don't worry about those factors.  I just play the guy I think is the much better play.
