Players you missed out on that you wanted? (1 Viewer)

Mclaurin is the only one I think I might regret missing but I would have had to take him in the 4th since I had the 12th pick. Took Rice instead.
 
Dynasty league only, so talking about rookies. But I guess that's a little less interesting to list. But guys that I thought had an outside shot to fall to me.

These are all redraft. I have some of those dudes in dynasty.

Good times. Lots of shady stuff going on there in the 10-12 spots, followed by "I hate my team" each time when the draft began to work its way back to the middle. 🤣

I don’t see the desire for Legette or Coleman.

Oh I mis read this. Thought you meant when I took Jamo right in front of you. Too many J Williams' in the nfl :P
 
I wanted Stroud and Jacobs.

I didn't think Jacobs would get back to me at 3.11, but I simply couldn't take him at 2.02 either.

Stroud got taken a few picks before my 5th rounder, but I think it worked out in my favor as I was able to snag Dak at 7.11

3 of 5 of those on my list, BTJr, Rice and McBride. Will add Trey Benson and K Herbert, was a dollar short at the end of the auction draft backing up Swift.
 
james connor. I know there's injury risk but my thinking here is that there's gonna be so much attention on Harrison/Mcbride that there will be running room and plenty of goal line carries in a hopefully improved O.
 
I wouldn't say I wanted him but I did think I would be able to draft Jayden Daniels in the 8th round but he ended up going in the 7th. Our league rewards rushing yards and TD's far more than passing.
 
Initially I was upset when I missed out on Joe Burrow at 3.06 (super flex league), but it allowed me to land Jahmyr Gibbs instead and I thought I was upset for a minute that Kyler Murray didn't make it back to 4.05 but Jordan Love did and Jared Goff made it back to 5.06 so I feel great about how it turned out.

Bummed I missed out on Jaylen Wright at 14.05 but Jordan Mason made it there so I was good with that trade off.

Ultimately I hate both my teams equally so I think it worked out well.
 
We need a “players you got but didn’t want” topic for those of us with a Chase share.

He returned to practice the day before my FBG league draft. I was fully intending to play it safe with ARSB at 6, but then I saw the coach’s comments & bombs away, right?

-Igglz like AJB and Barkley, feel like they are going to fly high this season, still time before the weekend

-ARSB and Gibbs, have been able to get Monty but I'd prefer the prime cuts in this offense. I also like La Porta but not a fan of his price tag.
I have grabbed JAMO as WR5/6 in almost all of my redrafts and I'm OK if I have to cut him after a few weeks. This is mostly why I don't love La Porta's draft slot

-Josh Jacobs is going to make people regret not taking him especially in Sept/Oct as the GB offense continues to grow, they didn't have a WR with 100 targets IIRC, no alpha, no TE yet
And this guy just walks on to the team and is in prime position to unleash HOLY HELL

-Derrick Henry, he's just gone before I can get my hands on him unless I sacrifice a 1st, he's going to be a monster. He's been held back in Tennessee and he's had major games against pretty darn good defenses, never had a QB with the skills of Lamar, and they still don't have that much at Receiver, he's gonna feast!

CJ Stroud...oh he's going tp punish all of us for not taking him in the 5th round, he's incredible and I thought he was good coming out of college, he's even better.

Tight Ends Dalton Kincaid and Ferguson in Dallas, like BOTH of them

But I still have MoP Jr's league tomorrow night and I plan on shortening this list a bit
I'm in the 3-Hole, they can't take 'em all

Jacobs and Dowdle. Both were taken 2 picks before me. I should have reached on Dowdle a round earlier, but thought he would fall.
 
Rashee Rice.

He just went earlier than I expected in all
of my drafts. Thought for sure I could sneak him onto my roster as my WR2/3 somewhere in the 4th round. Nope.
 
My main keep 10 league, I really, REALLY wanted Jayden Daniels. I had 1.10, 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 and was ready to take him. The commish, drafting at 1.8 asked if anyone was interested in that pick. I kind of regret not moving up as he then took Daniels with that pick. Settled for Maye at 2.3. I did not want to move up though since ALL of Wright, Thomas Jr and Worthy were still avaiable. I stood pat and took them all.
 
I remember one time a few years ago where I was so high on Mixon, I somehow convinced myself that I must have drafted him, and spent Week 1 cheering for him before realizing he wasn't on any of my rosters.

Also, I realized last night that I didn't draft a single Niner in any draft. CMC was never an option, I could have had Aiyuk or Deebo but didn't feel comfortable taking either in the second, was out on Brock, and swore that I would take Kittle if he made it to me in the 5th but he never did
