This Mike Smith performance is one of the more brilliant I've seen.  Goaltending and offensively.  If someone doesn't win this one for him it's a shame.  He should get a crack in the shootout, why not

Sadly, he did. 58 for 60? 

If he didn't seem to get constantly hurt and force Domingue into net, the Coyotes might almost be...well, not dead last.

 
Oof what a terrible 3rd to blow that game preds. Kid has to pissed so we leave our seats to go and come back to them scoring 2 goals in first minute of the 3rd :(  feels like a bad loss. 

Buddy of mine is a GM at the double tree downtown. Has over 200 guests from Philly for the game tonight, showed up in force yesterday. Saw tons of them walking around broad after the game. Will be curious to see just how many Flyers fans in attendance. 

 
Leafs place Enroth on waivers.  Have not announced a backup as of yet.  Possibly could be Bibeau from the Marlies, or Karri Ramo, who has been skating with the Leafs, but has not been cleared to play yet, and has not signed a contract

 
Stuck watching Flyers on Panthers feed. Denis Potvin has to be the worst color analyst.  

I expect the homer part but for a former great player, he offers very little insight.

Both Simmonds goals - "Boy Simmonds is on a roll and when you're hot the puck goes in."

 
Red Wings fans really can't complain about the FA acquisitions so far.  Nielson is 2nd among forwards in ice time, is first in PPP, has two shorties, and is probably their best defensive forward.  Vanek now has 13 points in 16 games and Ott plays on the PK and is giving them some strong 4th line play.  I think Mike Greene has looked pretty good this year also, but the rest of the D stinks especially with Smith on the shelf, Ericsson being old, Kronwall being hurt, and the rest of the guys still trying to figure the league out. 

I had only watched Patrik Laine in All-Star games and international competition, but he's really stellar.  His puck control and awareness for an 18-year-old is amazing, what a player.  

 
Anyone know how I could stream the Sabres Game on Friday against the Caps?  I'm in Rochester and in the Blackout area for MSG,  My son's scout group is having an overnight at a hall and would liek to stream the game in for the Dads and boys.  We have access to internet, but no cable.  I have Dish Network, which I can stream anything to my PC/phone, but Dish does not have MSG.  Time Warner allows you to stream most of your channels, but not MSG for some reason.  The MSG app, does not allow streaming of Sabres games for some reason.

Even if I purchased an NHL.tv subscription, I cannot watch the Sabres as the game is blacked out.

Any ideas?  I want a decent feed as they want to use a project it onto a big screen in the hall.

Rangers in some trouble. Hank looking awful and lost and now Nash out for a week. Vesey and puempel hurt as well. Add to that Buch and Zibanejad and that is 4 top 6 forwards out. Ouch

Plus Girardi still sucks. Cant complain too much about Staal this year. He has been ok. So far

I'm assuming you want legal but if not, reddit nhl streams has every game every night, usually pretty good quality.

 
My biggest issues with the Leafs lately have been Kadri having no one to work with on the 3rd line (it's been Komarov and Soshnikov who are tough to play against but nowhere near Kadri's skill level) and William Nylander being buried as the 4th line centre with Matt Martin and Ben Smith. Tonight they have a Komarov-Kadri-Nylander 3rd line and it's making things happen. That of course leaves a Martin-Smith-Soshnikov 4th line that is basically unplayable though.

Smith did get a nice, easy wide open rebound goal tonight, but more the exception.

I was trying to go that route, why do they make it so difficult.  10 adults who will be there pay for Time Warner and can watch the game at home.

Carolina Hurricanes are a bunch of choking dogs.   They find a way to lose that just rips your heart out.   I don't think I can take watching them anymore.   It took me 3 hours to go to sleep last night after that loss that ended 1:30 EST and I was sober.  :wall: :cstu:

embarrassing the way the Wild went into a shell in the 3rd, but it worked I guess.  Leafs should win that game though if the Wild are going to play like that.  didn't have much of an answer for the Kadri and Matthews lines all night either other than "I guess Dubnyks got it".  6 of 10 points on a road trip seems alright but they really sucked for much of it and should have had much more.  Brodin was a mess last night too for some reason.  Staal made his first appearance in about a month though so how about that!

 
Was never really into hockey until last season when my then 3y/o decided he was going to become obsessed with the Predators.

Ran into Mike Fisher signing autographs after the game Tuesday night, my youngest got a game puck, which Fisher signed, as well as their hats. Then posed for a few pictures.  The security guys were trying to get him to move along, but he brushed them off and kept signing til everyone got theirs.  Awesome guy.

And now I'm screwed because my boys are even more obsessed with the Predators.

This is gonna be expensive. My oldest is already in skating lessons and my youngest can't wait to get on the ice without those walking wings.

Fisher is another Peterborough guy. Super religious family. His uncle runs a special needs hockey team that my older brother plays on.

 
I know I've been making this joke for 3 years now, but bishop is really really terrible all of a sudden. They have to do something about him. Vasy is just sitting there. 

 
man that Gallant firing was smart, look at those Panthers go.  they're so smart down there in Miami.  so many smart people in charge.  probably the smartest front office in the leeg.

I guess McDavid is still mad about being injured against the Flyers last year. Been going after Manning all night, acting like quite a ######## with Lucic riding shotgun. A dandy going on in Philly.
