Great to see Pat Cannone make his NHL debut tonight for the Wilds. I chatted a bit with his parents as we sat at the bar in the Green Turtle under the Verizon Center before the 2009 Frozen Four. I've always had a soft spot for longtime journeyman finally getting their chance, no matter the sport.

Just seems funny to me that the 3 games this year have netted 23 total goals.

It's like the 2 teams are busy proving who's fastest end to end and nobody bothers slowing the other guy down in the neutral zone.

I have that exact sweater. Wore it to work last week (I love having a job that allows you to wear hockey sweaters to work). Although I saw a pic of Alan Thicke with some North Stars oldtimers last week and have to admit the white "home" jersey is pretty sharp, too.
