RIP, Mr. Bruin ... Milt Schmidt.

He might not have been as famous as Howe or Gretzky, but he was a legend around here. Orr still calls him the greatest Bruin ever.

Players and coaches like it. Hitch is not the kind of guy who strokes the NHLS ego. He said he loved it in the interview.

But I will never go to one again unless my son realllllly wants to and they have it at Michie stadium. It was a really bad watch at Yankee stadium.
I went to the Kings/Quacks at Dodger stadium and it was terrible for actually watching the game.  A baseball stadium is not set up well for hockey games.  It was a terrific event and an awesome atmosphere.  It just sucked for actually watching the game.  I think the viewing is better at football stadiums but it is still more about the spectacle and event than actually watching the game.

It's not enough the Ducks are cheating dogs, now they have the refs cheating for them.  How that was goaltender interference is :X

Red Wings now 0 for their last 46 power play chances in 15 road games.  :lmao:

Brendan Shannahan is rolling over in his grave.

Even your broadcast team was suspect of the call.  Doesn't matter, Wings stink.  Would be nice if they'd score some goals, they do have offensive talent but it's been pretty offensive this year IMO.
The overhead replay was pretty clear.    Love the WIngs player that faked the high sticking penalty he drew and whipped his head back w/o being touched.

That "Stopped the Blue Jackets' run at an NHL record" 2017 banner is going to look sharp in the Verizon Center rafters.

that was impressive, signature win so far this year.  I'll eat crow on Staal, other than a stretch in November he's been solid.  Koivu/zucker/granny continues to be difference maker.  total collapse spot for past Wild teams, not the norm to bounce back like that on the road.

USA and Wild both erase two 2 goal leads, fun night

Awesome night of hockey last night.First the Caps destroyed Lumbus and then the finish of the World Juniors was nothing short of amazing even though I really really hate shootouts.

Caps are finally starting to look better over the last few weeks with the main reason being Kuzy getting his head out of his ###.This team is really good as long as he can stay productive and not get lost on the ice.He really comes across as way too soft at times and is only looking to make the great pass instead of making the right play and it has cost them.

But wow that World Juniors was something else but for the love of god please take the shootout out of the championship game.Let the kids decide it as a team and not a skills competition, they deserve at least that much.

Someone told me he'd get me any NHL player's signed jersey for a silent auction I'm helping with...Boston crowd. Who would you get? Thinking Eichel might do well in bidding, maybe better than any of the B's.

Dunno if anyone would do better than Patrice Bergeron in Boston.

Bergeron is obvious choice for the Bs maybe overthinking it. Kids around here are obsessed with Eichel, thought it might be more of a novelty but you're probably right.

Has to be an active player I'm assuming?

Imagine if he could get Bourque or Neely

If active I'd agree with Bergeron, with a sleeper being Pastrnak.

Staal's shooting percentage this year is the 2nd highest of his career.
