The Red Sox so far have fallen prey to good offensive numbers overall . . . but a lot of the good production has come in a handful of games. They've had 21 games when they allowed 4 runs or less and are 13-8 in those games. In 17 games where they scored 4 or fewer runs, they are 6-11. 

Overall, they're 4th in MLB in fewest runs allowed per game and 8th in offensive OPS. They just are not synced up yet. A healthy Price would help.

I think that's the best assessment of the modern booth I've heard, though Remy hopefully gets well...

Been an interesting summer. Been watching a lot of Sox and not much else.

He looks like he's made that transition from 96 to 92 with location, but all things constant, I've never not preferred the 96 mph version of a guy to five mph fewer.
