Pretty Big Trade

12 Team PPR qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/te/ 1 flex is rb/wr and 1 flex is rb/wr/te

Team A Gives Michael Floyd/Ben Tate/Terrence West/Justin Hunter/Mark Ingram

Team B Gives Le'Veon Bell/Golden Tate/Marvin Jones/Ahmad Bradshaw/Clay Harbor
I like the Floyd side myself
Me too.
Give me Bell. Far and away the best player in the trade and the pieces that come along with him, while not as good, aren't bad themselves.

Much better collection of players for this year, and probably about equal going forward.
Yeah I'll take the Bell side and I don't feel that it's a very tough call.
Me too. I consider Bell the top RB and a legit top 10 dynasty asset. Floyd and prospects just isn't enough.
As do I but Floyd could be one next year if Fitz leaves. Hunter can still develop into a top WR and Ingram may be a starting RB somewhere.

I can see both sides of this but prefer the Floyd side.

It's definitely one of those "reasonable people can differ" trades. I wouldn't scoff at someone taking the Floyd side in that deal, I just go the other way with personal preference.

It certainly depends on your thoughts on the parts involved. Floyd is the biggest part on that side, and I view him as having high end WR2 upside, personally, and it's a croweded group. The other two have less than a coinflip's odds at being steady VBD providers, IMO.

If you're higher on the parts, especially Floyd, the deal looks much better for that side.

Somewhat of a big trade:

Newton, Cam CAR QB

Cadet, Travaris NOS RB

Ingram, Mark NOS RB

McCoy, LeSean PHI RB

Bailey, Stedman STL WR

Prater, Matt DET PK

for

Stafford, Matthew DET QB

Martin, Doug TBB RB

Zuerlein, Greg STL PK

Whitehead, Tahir DET LB

Two 2015 1sts (both likely late, 1.10-1.16 range)

2015 2nd (probably #20-24)
Am I overlooking something or is there more to it? For me the Cam side and it is IMO not close.
 one side is rebuilding (will be a force in a couple years or less) and the other contending.

Took awhile to get this one done. Started as Cam/Saints RBs for Stafford/Martin and escalated from there.
So he was already bad (hence why he's rebuilding) and he trades AWAY McCoy, Cam, and Ingram for a bunch of junk and he's "going to be a force in a couple years or less"? Based on what? Two late 1st round picks that won't even come close to replacing the young studs he traded away even in a best case scenario?

 Just another example of why some people are perpetually rebuilding.
Not to argue much here, but I think you're overrating Ingram and underrating Stafford.

He has a lot of young talent on his roster - enough that after trading these guys away he's the top scoring team this week.
Stafford does have a bit more value in a larger league (looks like this is a 16 team league) but at best he's still a downgrade from Cam. Ingram is worth more than a late 1st on his own, as is Cam, which leaves Shady and change for a whole lotta 'meh'.

If his team is as good or soon to be as good as you say it is, then that makes this trade worse, not better. You know who he could use in a couple years when you think he'll be a "force"? Guys like Cam, McCoy, and Ingram.

I know you're trying to defend the guy so it doesn't look like you ripped him off but that's just what it is. It's a bad trade for the guy if he's rebuilding, bad if he's middle of the pack, and bad if he's contending.
The guy doesn't need defending, he's a good owner. Just giving my honest assessment.

I'd love to get a 1st for Ingram and have put him on the block already, we'll see if there's any interest. It's entirely possible I underrate the guy. IMHO, he's in the same tier as Martin.
FWIW, the follow-up:

Gave: Cadet, Ingram, Crabtree, 2015 4th and 5th

Got: Montee Ball and Mike Wallace

not involved but curious on opinions. 16 team league, so elite QBs are worth a lot.

Luck, Andrew IND QB
Sankey, Bishop TEN RB
Williams, Terrance DAL WR

for

Cutler, Jay CHI QB
Bryant, Dez DAL WR
Year 2015 Round 1 Draft Pick
Year 2015 Round 3 Draft Pick

That works.

I'd spin the wheel on Ball/Wallace

Start 3 (WR)? PPR? Flex?

My initial lean is that Luck and Dez are neck-and-neck in this format and that I like both sides about equally.

3 WR, up to 5 can start. PPR, 1 QB.

12 team PPR league.

Competing at 5-1, but AJ is my 5th WR.

Gave:

Andre Johnson

John Brown

Andre Williams

Got:

Percy Harvin

Danny Amendola

I like Harvin for that price
X2
Will work out great for you when Harvin lands in NE in 2016, but for now I'd rather piecemeal for other players/picks.
Don't play with my emotions, between Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald and Harvin - its too much.

Was offered Lacy for Hyde and a 1st. Turned it down. This year has been shocking.
Wow - unless I was 100% in win-now mode without other options at RB, I would have taken this.
Your post doesn't make sense to me unless you think I'm the lacy owner. I was offered lacy, but I'm high on Hyde and am 2-4 so decent chance it's a high first. Thanks but no thanks

12 team PPR

Team A got: Keenan Allen and Andre Roberts

Team B got: Jordan Matthews and ASJ

Team A got: C Patterson and Rueben Randle

Team B got: Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes

Wow I love what Team B got in both deals. The second one is straight stealing

This just happened. 16t ppr qrwwffftkd $300 contract league.

Team A sent McKinnon $4 and very late 2015 1st

Team B sent Davante Adams $1 and an early 2015 1st

I'm team A.

I play in a few 16 team leagues. This seems pretty fair to me.

12 Team PPR

Ronnie Hillman, 2015 3rd & 4th rd rookie picks (picks from 1-5 team)

for

2015 2nd rd rookie pick (team also 2-4)

Think I may be on Team A's side.

Not quite ready to give up on all those guys just yet and I really like Benjamin

12 team ppr, start 2RB/2WR/TE one flex

Traded:

Olsen

Received:

Allen

I have Gronk and been flexing Olsen, but more importantly, I'm 2-4 and not sure I could get to the playoffs this year.

Betting on Allen getting more consistent looks in 2015+ with the age of Gates/Floyd

WRs are now Green, Floyd, Allen, T Smith, Wright and Blackmon

Great deal for you

12 team PPR, qrrwwwtfkd, best ball

Team A gave up:

Gore, Frank SFO RB

Hyde, Carlos SFO RB

Year 2015 Round 2 Draft Pick from Team A

Team B gave up:

McKinnon, Jerick MIN RB

Peterson, Adrian MIN RB

Year 2015 Round 1 Draft Pick from Team B

Team A is 2-4, Team B is 3-3.
