I liked him coming in as well and he's a good receiver, but his numbers are primarily a result of a huge number of targets (66 in 8 games). Marvin Jones is also a good receiver and Eifert has the talent to be an elite TE.

Unless he's traded next year I really don't like his prospects until he's a free agent in 2016.

Is he worth that? I mean... this season, absolutely. But Manning may only play another year or two, imo. If he wins a SB this year, does he come back at all?

For a contender, he's worth a late 1st. I don't think he'll be more than a WR2 after Peyton but it's a fair price for a shot at a title.

It's a steep price to pay but if you are in a short term championship run, it's not unreasonable to overpay to leverage your interests.
