I agree - which is why I am shocked the FA gave Roy a vote of confidence after the first two games.

What were they supposed to do? Sack him after 2 matches?

A simple no comment would be fine.

England needs to blow up their set-up - too rooted in old-boy-network.

The FA is in a tough position with respect to the Premier League. Every FA in a big country has some conflicts with the local leagues but the EPL is richer and more powerful.

The color guy towed the FIFA line, and did not seem to have an issue with it. Play by Play did not give much of an opinion.
