Depends. Are they talking about Messi and Di Maria or are they talking about Bradley and Howard?I'm at 1 min of stoppage on espn radio app, how far behind am I ?

Yep 3 min exactly3 minutes...half ended at 4:48.I'm at 1 min of stoppage on espn radio app, how far behind am I ?
So does FDMBOnly if you add an F somewhere in there...DFMB works.Dave Matthews Band don't deserve the "DMB" acronym.
True but MLS wingers track back better than Hazard doesAnd fyi... Yedlin is exciting, but rash. He routinely puts his team in trouble by being overly aggressive w his runs, positioning and tackling
You need to be prepared to go a full 120' here.3rd Manhattan mixed. Doing my part.
I think the US has actually been attacking quite a bit with possession. They just haven't had many good tries is all. IMO, Belgium has done way more on the counterattack than a possession based attack.
I am thinking the same way. The US has had plenty of opportunities going forward but a lot of heavy touches has wiped out those chances. I think they have been in too much of a hurry to attack when in possession in Belgium's end resulting in hurried play and bad touches. You guys and the announcers are ####### crazy. This may have been the best half the US has produced this WC. The possession of Belgium hasn't resulting in solid chances. Its been the transition game - there Belgium's team speed has shown up and caused problems. But the US is creating chances themselves, and have probably had the best ones thus far. Plus Bradley has been playing very well. One or two sloppy touches, one or two giveaways, but he's creating problems for the Belgian defense.
I'm much more positive that the US can win now than I was 50 minutes ago.
I'm surprised that people are being critical of Bradley. He's been good. You guys and the announcers are ####### crazy. This may have been the best half the US has produced this WC. I'll try to get out there. Been once since my daughter was born so I'll be in about as poor of shape as possible.I am! But listening, so perhaps not as effective as usual. Playing ball tomorrow btw.You should be workingCome on set piece
GWB is trying to assemble a tactical strike to remove Bradley from a position of power.I heard Bradley is denying women access to birth control.
THANKS BRADLEY
And Fab doesn't? Fab has had a hand in two goals scored against the US in the group stage. He was AWOL in defense in the first 25 minutes of this game. This is likely by design and exactly why Cam is playing. In that case, might as well stick with the tactic with even more pace. And fyi... Yedlin is exciting, but rash. He routinely puts his team in trouble by being overly aggressive w his runs, positioning and tackling
Fair enough. But if they don't stop giving the ball away, Belgium will eventually capitalize on one of these. I am encouraged by the US getting forward. Missing the final ball but they'll need a touch of magic for that. You guys and the announcers are ####### crazy. This may have been the best half the US has produced this WC. I agree with most of this. But only in terms of scoring. I am confident USA will score. The problem is that unless something happens in the half then Belgium will too, and maybe more than once.I think the US has actually been attacking quite a bit with possession. They just haven't had many good tries is all. IMO, Belgium has done way more on the counterattack than a possession based attack.

Tough place to play though. Hot and very humid. Not sure who holds up best.So far the game has largely been up and down the field. In a track meet, I'll always favor a US squad.
No way he plays now that we burned a sub.Does it make sense for Altidore to come in with the lineup and tactics we have now?
The US is always one of the most conditioned teams in the Cup. Only concern is they played in Manaus and Belgium rested their starters.Tough place to play though. Hot and very humid. Not sure who holds up best.So far the game has largely been up and down the field. In a track meet, I'll always favor a US squad.
Already lost Fab and the substitution early - you can't chance a injury to JA hereDoes it make sense for Altidore to come in with the lineup and tactics we have now?
Injury only? Or even then they can't risk it?No way he plays now that we burned a sub.Does it make sense for Altidore to come in with the lineup and tactics we have now?
I guess the only point of bringing in Beckerman would be to move Cameron to RB so Yedlin has even more of a license to get forward.I think the question is, what does JK do with the subs? People are clamoring for Beckerman but I'd love to see a more aggressive sub. Maybe Johannsson to run at their CBs.
Honestly don't think he's available. Especially with the possibility that this could go 120 minutes and the US already having to use a sub. Sub Altidore in, sub him back out, and, voila. No more subs.Does it make sense for Altidore to come in with the lineup and tactics we have now?
Yes, they controlled the game better against Portugal, but to me Belgium is a better side and they've been showing some of the best soccer they've played thus far. I think both teams have significantly stepped up their games from the group stage. They game has been a bit hectic, but if you're going to press for a goal like both sides have, there will be spaces in transition.Agree kinda. You guys and the announcers are ####### crazy. But they are finding a lot of space and are just a bunch of mi#### crosses from converting. They did fat better exerting control control against Portugal.
Bradley's picked his game up and the US is in this while having a bunch of guys not finding their touch.
This would be a good game for Jozy's skills imo
Losing Fab in the first half really hurts in this regard. If it stays scoreless, I don't think Klinsmann does anything until 65-70 min. You don't know if you're playing for 90 or 120 min.I think the question is, what does JK do with the subs? People are clamoring for Beckerman but I'd love to see a more aggressive sub. Maybe Johannsson to run at their CBs.
Agree w this.Fair enough. But if they don't stop giving the ball away, Belgium will eventually capitalize on one of these. I am encouraged by the US getting forward. Belgians shouldn't be as used to heat as the U.S. squad is.Tough place to play though. Hot and very humid. Not sure who holds up best.So far the game has largely been up and down the field. In a track meet, I'll always favor a US squad.
If you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly! And fyi... Yedlin is exciting, but rash. He routinely puts his team in trouble by being overly aggressive w his runs, positioning and tackling
The injury means you can't risk having to sub him out. Even without the injury, Jozy isn't a great sub but he'd be starting anyways. Great guy to tire the D out trying to deal with his big body but not a burner to take advantage of a tired D. Only benefit would be pushing Dempsey into an off forward type role and letting Bradley become more box to box.Injury only? Or even then they can't risk it?No way he plays now that we burned a sub.Does it make sense for Altidore to come in with the lineup and tactics we have now?
