I had a friend text me at 7:45 saying he was heading to a bar. Those Cajuns don't like the rain apparently.Odd that lsu stadium seems only 60% full if that.
They are terrible. So is the AAC. God awful conference.I really need to know how this UCONN team lost by 15 at home to TOWSON.
Curious decision there to take a timeout and then go for a 4th and 30. With 2 TO's left (before they used it), you could get the ball back in decent field position with about a minute left. Forcing a 3-and-out seems more likely than converting this 4th down. It's like they're trying to lose.
Well played jinx as always gb.The BOB isn't affiliated with the BIG 10, unfortunately. It's either the Meineke Bowl or the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.A Michigan/Georgia Tech Beef O'Brady Bowl would be awesome.Good seats still available for the Meineke Car Care Bowl.Kill me... Atleast the Tigers are making a huge comeback cuz UM looks like a joke![]()
They might, but they will be about 6-5 going into the game. They stink. Now watch Michigan bury Ohio St at the end of the year

A RichRod coached Michigan team would get endlessIt was never in doubt. They just had to wake up.
about how the team was ill-prepared or unmotivated. Hoke's team is "rebuilding." I find this obnoxious, no consistency at all in fandom I suppose. If they play like this vs Northwestern or even Penn State or Nebraska, they're gonna get run.Seems like a down year across the board, or maybe just a lot of the field is leveling. I mean Alabama is the standard, but they don;t even seem as good as they have been. Florida is meh, OU is down, Texas is laughable, USC is horrendous, the Big Ten is still ####ty besides Ohio State and Maryland is one of the best teams in the ACC. I don't know, Oregon and Clemson have looked pretty good this season. In place of the names on the back of Wyoming's jerseys are words like "Respect", "Honor", "Commitment" and "Integrity"....Brett Smith QB for Wyoming against Air Force - 23/26 270yds - 4Tds + 11 carries for 140yds and a TD
.....for the first half
Yeah, the truth we know is that UM fans just never liked RichRod. To be fair, Hoke has earned more leeway than RichRod ever did.A RichRod coached Michigan team would get endlessIt was never in doubt. Louisville, Stanford and Ohio State all look like champions too. I wouldn't underestimate LSU either. There's a lot of good games coming up here.
Almost positive it's Dan Hawkins.Ok, who is doing the color commentary on the AF/WYO game? This is the worst color guy I've heard since Todd Christensen was relegated to X Games sideline reporter. Guy wants offensive blocks in the open field to be 15 yard penalties? WTF????
He's horrible, don't you think? "I'm from the school of hard knocks?" Easy there, tiger. They're 4-0 and have a bye coming up, but then it's FSU in Tallahassee. Then we'll see.and Maryland is one of the best teams in the ACC.

I'll decline your polite offer of crow, thank you. Your juggernaut BYU offense scored 13 points in a loss tonight. You stand by what? How quickly BYU dismantled Texas with their up tempo offense? You tried to mock them. They destroyed. Eat your crow, RN.I stand by that. Just shows how bad Texas is.BumpBYU is on ESPN2 right now. For those who haven't seen their new offense yet, they play even faster than Oregon, if you can believe it. Hair-on-fire tempo. But it's hilarious... because they stink. So the only result is that their defense is back on the field that much quicker.

Let me try and put my screaming daughter to bed first, then I'll video tape an apology to you as soon as I can.Oh, GM.....![]()

At home.
Against a team which gave up 51 points to Oregon State last week.
And their lone TD came after a monster punt return into Utah's red zone.
I would now like you to apologize to me on video. TIA GB.
A RR coached team would have lost that game. The only reason they won that game is because of the defense. Not sure what's happening on offense but they don't deserve to be ranked at the moment. Couldn't tell ya....he appears to be going mental. Looks like he's scared to make a mistake. Not playing well at all. Hope he figures it out over the bye week. What's up with this guy? Nebraska has a QB controversy on their hands. I know it was just SDSU, but both backups throw a much better ball than Martinez, and Armstrong can run a true option/zone read. Rather than the playbook being condensed for backups, it was actually opened up because of what they are capable of.
Martinez with one bad wheel is a hinderance.
Hey, some kid that was a walk on with Georgia Tech is working in our warehouse. Pretty cool guy. Very tall. Played WR for them. I think his career stats were like 1 catch for 19 yards. Better than me!NCAA gives Penn St some scholarships back for good behavior and says the bowl ban could be lifted next year. Meanwhile, don't lie about a BBQ (Bruce Pearl) and take money (USC-Reggie Bush) because there is no good behavior clause for those infractions.

The point here is that George Mitchell has looked at the progresss PSU has made and recommended that mediation be enacted. Sure, but here is the tough part. How would you like them to go about it? It's unreasonable to think they're going to have a written guideline for how to handle every single occurrance at hundreds of schools. It isn't like they will have a written plan for how to handle when your defensive coordinator does what JS did. They pretty much have to operate on the fly and on a case by case basis. When you did that in a very public and passionate area like college football, every choice you make will be scrutinized.I know they aren't the same. Lying about a BBQ is pretty minor. The point is the NCAA makes stuff up as it goes like NASCAR and the WWE. Although I don't see how breaking away from the NCAA will change anything unless it just becomes anything goes so there is nothing to punish.
The NCAA has a consistency problem and that problem stems from being understaffed. They don't have anywhere close to enough people to police the masses so what do they do? They rely on the masses to regulate themselves. That has to change for the NCAA to be legitimate IMO. They have to be proactive, and not reactive. Then, on top of that, they need to focus on the things that the NCAA is responsible for (i.e. ncaa rules violations). Leave the rest up to the authorities and judicial system. The NCAA can give back whatever they want to PSU, but they won't be able to help them in the legal system and that's the way it should be. These "sanctions" are a drop in the bucket compared to what they can lose in the legal system.Sure, but here is the tough part. How would you like them to go about it?
