Sure. It would just be pretty unusual for a 2 loss team to make the NC game. Even if that 2 loss team is from the SEC.

Sure. It would just be pretty unusual for a 2 loss team to make the NC game. Even if that 2 loss team is from the SEC.

I mean - obviously LSU did it a few years ago. But that was pretty unusual.

But in this scenario, were talking about a UGA team that only lost 1 game since their first game, BCS typically favors that, and Im guessing Clemson is going to have a good season.

Most teams in the SEC, Bama included, probably arent going undefeated.

Only one game, but I liked what I saw out of LSU's offense...Appears that Miles just gave the keys to Cameron and that's it. Should be a fun season

If they end up winning the SEC, they'd be in...especially with a loss this early in the season...that's how the BCS works.

If they end up winning the SEC, they'd be in...especially with a loss this early in the season...that's how the BCS works.

The loss last night doesn't kill Georgia at all. Mainly because they have a great schedule this year. They still play, S. Car, UF, LSU and GTech in the regular season. If they make it to the SEC Championship they also get (likely) Bama. You weather that with one loss, then you've got a serious shot at the BCS.

I went to the Rose Bowl last night and had a great time. The Bruins offense looked terrific. Jordan James appears to be the real deal, and a fine replacement for Johnathan Franklin. Brett Hundley is simply awesome. The defense made some mistakes but played an overall good game. But the offense is so dynamic now...hopefully this can keep going, even though the schedule is very difficult.

Cody Fajardo of Nevada, from Servite high school in Orange County, is a heck of a quarterback.

i think we have enough information to say they are better than 8. That doesn't mean the rankings are perfect. They are far from it. That was my point about OSU. I think OSU is bellow a top 5 team but they have the easiest path of anyone in the country to a BCS bid thanks to the preseason ranking.

The biggest difference between Clemson and Georgia right now: Boyd is a great college quarterback. Aaron Murray is a very good one. That shouldn't be a knock on Murray.

Murray had a fumble and thew an interception in the second quarter, and his record is 1-9 against top 15 opponents. I do buy that the Dawgs have a real Heisman Trophy contender on this team, but it's Gurley, not Murray.

Louisville better hope Tommy Tuberville can keep Cincinnati on track. The Cards, who play Sunday, couldn't afford Cincy losing to a middling Big Ten team like Purdue. The league that Louisville's in, the AAC, is desperate for credibility and having Connecticut lose to Towson in its opener certainly didn't help. Or Rutgers lose at Fresno State. Or South Florida get blown out by McNeese State. Or SMU lose by 18 to Texas Tech at home. But at least the Bearcats did their part thumping Purdue, 42-7.

Jordan Taylor - WR Rice - he's pretty good.

yeah he is! I tried telling people we weren't bad and no one believed me. We made some real bonehead decisions yesterday (stupid fair catch and blocking downfield stand out to me) but the defense is much improved despite what A&M did. They have too much talent and that backup QB had all day to throw. We won't see an OL like that again all year. But they only really had 1 big play all game which is saying something.

McHargue is solid but got rattled when we got down. The crowd got to him too I think and he made some bad throws. But between him, Ross, and Taylor, we have some real weapons. I honestly think we have a shot at running the table from here (we won't, but we have a shot).
