Yeah what is the Rose Bowl doing next year since the NFL plays on NYD?
Assuming they do the same as 2012, NYD bowls will be played on Monday the 2nd.
Yeah Monday is the federal holiday next year, so that would make sense. But after reading all this stuff about them not wanting to come off the 1st I wasn't sure.
As a football fan, I would love NFL week 17 on Saturday the 31st, normal NYD bowls on Sunday the 1st, playoff bowls on the 2nd.

The last two games of the day should be really competitive, not sure about the next one though I'm taking K-State to cover on coaching alone.

Rose bowl has never played on a Sunday. Semis will be on Saturday and the rest Monday. They won't compete with NFL.

Nice two minute drill. Perhaps middle screens and check downs aren't optimal with under a minute remaining and no timeouts.

The screen calls are baffling. I chalk the check downs up to McSorley's inexperience and nerves.

Oh well. We'll see what the new OC has in store next year.

Probably was due to McSorley not being in that situation. It's ok to do a few of those, but they can't be 4 yard gains that chew up 25 seconds of clock between snaps.

Agree completely.

That was targeting by the K-State player...resulted in a serious injury.

No call.
I won't pretend to have a firm grasp on the targeting rule, but the runner lowered his head right before contact.
Yeah. Kind of like in elementry school playing flag football. I lowered my head and ran over a guy trying to get a first down and they called a 15 yard penalty on the other guy for tackling.
