I would've much preffered them taking a guy like Peat who while not the upside guy that Flowers is at least can come in and immediately produce. Flowers is a project and we should be trying to build for another SB push before Eli retires and Coughlin is 6 feet under in a few years. Flowers has the talent but may not be good enough for two-three years.

Do you need a G? Not trying to be funny, serious question. I think he can be dominant there. T, ummmm, not so sure.

I highly doubt that, he'll be the day one starter at RT and they'll slide Pugh into the interior at RG like he's meant to play. That said, I'm very uncomfortable with the idea of him protecting Eli. In the run game he is a man against boys, even in the NFL. He's an unbelivable mover, but he needs work a lot of it at pass protection.

I don't think he is that big of a project, but I think the JPP comparison is interesting and I agree there is some risk with the pick. I wanted them to address OT in the 1st round so I am glad they did.
