Just to be clear, I want Brazil to win and Neymar to break Fontaine's record.

I wasn't fishing. The team totally ####ed up qualifying, but is still capable of making a run in this kind of competetion and beating anybody in the world... If the winds blowing the right way. That's what we won't get to see and hope for... for another four and a half years. As a fan- and the US is the only team I live and die for as a fan- it's the worst. Not a "move on" situation and not helped by "they suck, move on" comments. Also I feel like ####- sick as a dog, so that's not helping my mood.

I get what you’re saying and it’s not like I’m happy they aren’t there, but now this thing is starting and I’m super excited for it...I’m just not going to let them get me down. 

The fact is they had an unbelievably low bar to qualify and they blew it. To me I’ve always just felt like if a sports team I’m following doesn’t care enough or put enough effort into it, I’m not going to lose sleep over it myself. They came out a bunch of times and screwed around against a bunch of inferior teams and they got exactly what they deserved.

Meola’s voice takes some getting used to, but he has a pretty keen eye for the game, IMO.
