***Official 2020 Michigan Football*** (2 Viewers)

As a Buckeye fan, I am not looking forward to what is almost certainly coming in three weeks. You guys are rolling right now and unless we can figure out something quickly, I don’t anticipate much of a game.

Ohio State ALWAYS gives big blue a great game. It is in A2 so that helps the blue.

Would really like to see Michigan/Alabama in the big game.

I am not sure I am liking this revenge tour schtick.  Still a decent chance they fall on their face.   It will not be an easy game
I don’t think it will be easy, but it’s really hard to imagine how that tOSU offense gets anything going against the UM defense.

Actually, I find it hard to imagine how that tOSU defense will stop the UM offense.  As with Penn State, if Michigan gets a two TD lead, the opponent has to start worrying about "how do we score on them while stopping them from scoring more?"

It does not always take much.  A blown coverage.  A bad pass.  A fumble.  A few stupid penalties.  Just some stupid things that happen on the road.  They still have some very good athletes.

Steve Wiltfong just put in a crystal ball for Zach Harrison.  This would be the biggest recruiting coup of the Harbaugh/Meyer era.

Best player in the state of Ohio - 5 star DE

Not exactly an inspiring tuneup, but I'm sure the osu fans were not thrilled with their game either. Important thing is they won and that should set up for a pretty good game.

Just now from Harbaugh - Jim Harbaugh on Chase Winovich: Yeah, things are progressing well with Chase. X rays were negative here at the stadium. Took him to the hospital as well, for CAT scans, and those came out negative

That would be HUGE.

Would be so amazing. I also hope the 6th year senior is ok. I know he’s not a star but I hate to see a serious injury.

Two things -

1) Harbaugh said he was moving extremities and seemed ok, though he does have a bad concussion. Went to the hospital.

2) That's Berkley Edwards - Braylon's brother.

Thanks for the update. Hope he’s making a full and quick recovery

Well that sucks.  I hope he can get back and play, but I am impressed with the younger guys.  They filled in for Gary nicely.  I think they'd hold their own filling in for Chase.

Regardless of injuries...they play next week like they did today and it's not close.
Lets hope they don't!

They played terrible today  - and really kind of last week. But, you know, they are kids and they came off three huge weeks before that. Lets hope they dial it up again for next week.

Agreed, they weren't great today. I especially disliked the coaching. What was that last drive of the 1st half? 1 TO with <60 seconds and it's first down in the red zone.  How in the world can you call one run play yet alone 3 in a row?

I didnt have a problem with anything until the pass play after the last run. You have time to execute that sequence but you have to throw it into the end zone.

How about instead of executing the sequence that involved 0 passes into the end zone, you just throw the ball into the end zone 3 times? They have a really good QB and lots of big athletic receivers.

If they did what I mentioned they had three of those on top of what they already did.

I am a born and raised Buckeye.  Don't hate the Michigan - but you guys have ruined so many seasons for us in the last game of the regular season ...

Rooting for Ohio State so hard this coming weekend.  We have little to no chance of making the playoffs, but beating Meechigan is it's own prize.   :football:

Meh, would have given them a 7 point lead instead of 6.  I'm OK with that kind of call.
Hardly any difference in the expected value of going for two instead of the extra point.  Probably the correct call statistically given the score, although conventional wisdom says to wait until late to go for two.

There's gonna be some ###### up play that happens and it's going to benefit one team over the other.  I have no idea what the hell to think about this game.  I feel like if they get pressure on the QB it's lights out.  What they need to avoid is over pursuit resulting in big runs.  I think it comes down to who can run the ball the best....as usual.  If the Mich defense can make them one dimensional, it should be a win for the good guys.  I have a sneaking suspicion they're going to see a good sized dose of Martell and the screen pass.
